Cool Converting FL to PFL Headlights

May be an unpopular opinion, but I'm partial to the PFL headlights. Considering having a go at fitting PFL headlights into the FL body. Have seen many discussions on converting PFL to FL, but not the reverse. Anyone attempted this?

Because of that sharp cut on the headlight on the FLs this would not be easy.

Pre Facelift (not an RS3, but you get the idea)

It'd probably be easier and cheaper to just get a PFL car. I had a PFL S3 and I really liked the look. I have an RS3 now and it's certainly more aggressive, however I dont' care for the FL S3 (the grilles are different and way better on the RS IMO). If it really bothers you that much I'd honestly just look into a different car.

Despite that I think the PFL look will age more gracefully. The FL looks nice as well, but I think a lot of the styling changes were done for the sake of change. That tends to not age well, in my opinion. The PFL is just the right amount of crispness and simplicity.

Pic of a 2015 RS5 with the PFL headlights just for fun

You would have to get the PFL bumper as well which would definitely put this in the way too expensive category IMHO.

I saw an S3 Sedan on Instagram once that had been given the PFL RS3 front end. I have no idea how to find that post now, but it was pretty.
