What year Allroads have stock air suspension? B8? 8.5? Just B9?

Title pretty much says it. Not sure if there were years where it was stock/optional/etc.

None of the B chassis A4 allroads came with air suspension. In the USA, the B9 Allroad comes standard with Adaptive dampers, and fixed coil springs.

Nada..zip..zero.

If you want air suspension stock, gotta go with the OG allroad,and that's one of the most problematic systems on it.

The A6 allroads are the only ones that come with air suspension. So the only one we got was the C5 A6 and now the new incoming C8 A6 allroad.

So, today, I was playing with VCDS ticking off some of the common mods and came across this option as 'checked' in my 17-Instruments module:
Byte 5
Bit 0: Adaptive Air Suspension Installed

What the heck?

It's a 2016 A4 Allroad Premium Plus (or Progressive).

What does that option mean? I'm pretty sure I don't have air suspension installed.

I know. That's why I find it weird to see that checked. The previous owner wouldn't know how to change wiper blades, so I'm pretty sure no one was messing around with VCDS coding.
