Misc B8 A4 goodies for hardcore enthusiasts

It's been a while since my last posts on Audizine and I have quite a story how I got all these B8 A4 goodies, so bear with me here.

It all started back in Nov 2014 when I owned my beloved 2010 A4 P- 6-speed manual with Sport Package. I always enjoyed doing some DIY projects and at that time it was itching that I had no memory seats in my A4 B8 while I always had that in my other Audi's before. That's how I ran across www.audienthusiasts.com and got to know David, the site owner, and decided to post a question of how difficult it is to retrofit my car and add memory seats. David has emailed back that it's not that easy but we exchanged a few emails and it turned out he had most of the parts I needed for that DIY project. He also had a set of loaded mirrors with lane assist and heated glass, so I got curious how difficult it is to add Lane Assist (aka Audi Side Assist), turned out I needed to add two rear radar sensors in the back plugged into the rear parking harness. Well, that's how I got interested in installing then Rear and Front Parking kit that required harnesses, front and rear bumper sensors and so on... Well, you got the idea, one thing led to another, David had a lot of parts, he was interested in offloading them since he was about to move from Canada to Singapore... We kept talking and I became interested in adding Advanced Key (aka Keyless entry with door sensors and Start/Stop button in the center console). We've exchanged numerous emails where David meticulously explained what and how should be done, he has coded a BCM module for my car, shared some wiring diagrams and consulted on a lot of other things. As a summary, I was ready to retrofit my car since I was getting the following parts:
    1. Front and rear parking kit (with a special VAS 6614A toolkit for proper PDC sensors installation)
    2. Mirrors + Memory Seat Parts
    3. Lane Assist parts + Bang & Olufsen tweeters
    4. Keyless entry kit + Center Console trim with Start/Stop button

I ended up paying to David more than $2k for all the parts and it was really a good deal because some of these parts were impossible to find or very pricey if you get them from the dealer/online. I was confident in tackling such a big DIY project since David was always online and available for consultation. I've paid via PayPal and was waiting for shipment but suddenly got no response for a day or two. It was unusual, but a couple days later I got a short email from David informing me that I should not panic and that he had a heart attack last night... Skipping some details here, long story short a few days later I got a heavy box with all the parts. However, David has not responded to any emails after that... I felt depressed and was convinced he passed away... Well, kinda lost motivation to do that DIY project either...

Thanks God, about half a year later I've found online some mention about David retrofitting cars in Singapore and I was really glad to hear that! He did not respond to my emails though. Yet, my priorities have changed at the time and I was holding all those B8 A4 goodies for next 2 years thinking that perhaps at some point I get to that retrofit project. You can guess, it has never happened and I sold my A4 in 2017...

So here I am, still having that big box with quite a few A4 B8 goodies. I would be glad to ship it to someone who still has A4 B8 and interested in adding Prestige trim features :) At this point if one is interested in all the parts I'm very flexible on the price, let's say the entire box can go for $1k + shipping. I will also thoroughly collect and share all the emails with the valuable details I got from David. Note, you would still need to source some parts (e.g. not sure I got 2 radars for Lane Assist from David, I don't remember but I guess I was supposed to purchase them elsewhere).

Please check out all the parts in the photos and feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions - https://drive.google.com/open?id=1XO...NX6Os7rmRrfB8k

Thank you for reading thru and sorry for the long post.

Seemed like David was good guy. Wonder why he just cut contact after purchasing all the above, that was very strange on his part. I'm interested but not in the entire lot. I can do without the memory seats and b&o tweeters. That's a start/ stop from a b8 correct? That would be perfect as I have a b8.5 allroad premium so no need for mmi. Take this to pm if better. Thanks

David was really helpful and patiently answered all my (often silly) questions. I don't blame him for cutting communication, who knows what he was getting thru at the time...

Keyless entry kit with Start/Stop button - it is for b8, and I should warn you after I have just read our correspondence with David, it's a bit involved to install, though I should have all the parts for that. Besides other things it seems you need to source a BCM module from the car that had Advanced Key feature from the factory and code the module for your car - David did this part for me. Let's switch to PM if you are still interested in moving forward. Thank you!

FYI i think you meant Side assit with B&O tweeters not Lane assist.

And its bcm2 not bcm or bcm1 thats needed for keyless.

Yes, thanks, the proper feature name is Side Assist, not Lane Assist, apologies for confusion.

And I guess I have a BCM2 module that David has coded for my car, part # 8k0 907 064 DG.

What do you want for the VAS 6614 punch kit? Also, do you have a list of all of the part numbers of the pieces included (only looks like two punches and possibly 6614/3, 6614/4, 6614/5)? Can you confirm the bits and what punches are here?

Have been meaning to pick-up a kit for sometime to complete the PDC retrofit in my S5.

I have a complete VAS 6614/A punch kit that includes the following items:

    Screw hole punch ø 18.2mm
    VAS 6614/1; ASE 412 177 00 000

    Screw hole punch ø 26mm
    VAS 6614/2; ASE 412 178 00 000

    1 centering drift ø 18.2mm
    VAS 6614/3; ASE 412 179 00 000

    1 drill bit
    VAS 6614/4; ASE 412 180 00 000

    1 centering drift ø 17.8mm
    VAS 6614/5; ASE 412 181 00 000

4 attachment aids for PDC holder
    VAS 6614/6; ASE 412 182 00 000

At this point I would not sell it separately from Front and Rear Parking Kit - since I assume one would want this punch kit for proper installation. However if there is no interest in the community for the parking kits within a few days then I might start selling parts individually, please give me a few more days to decide. Thanks!

Totally reasonable. Will check back later. I'm in no rush. Something that's been on my list for some time.
