Go with a nice ceramic pad. I used to be an OEM brakes or nothing type of guy but the brake dust from OEM pads is just a constant struggle 😀

Not Bosch Quiet Cast. They rattle like crazy over bumps.

Zimmerman, Textar, Pagid and Akebono pads are all available at any Napa counter. Many other options available online shipped to your door.

Depends on your usage and driving, this is a very generic question with a generic answer.

I am using brembo pads with the q5 calipers and have been having good results with them. Bite and stopping power is good, dust is below average. They make good pads for stock calipers too

On my daily driver I went with Raybestos, the e coated rotors and corresponding pads. Element 3.

I also like my Akebonos. But make sure you get quality rotors for them, mine have started to squeal due to my garbage "BrakeBest Select" rotors being garbage. Never had any issues on my b6 (with the same akebono pads) with quality Centric rotors.

I like the Powerstop ceramics, when I went with my S4 BBK I used their rotors and ceramic pads and I love my brakes now.

I am a Napa manager and I have seen the differences in some of the pads out there. I personally chose to put the zimmermann rotors and akebono pads all the way around on mine. They stop strong no noise and looks like low dust. Napa's might not stock at some locations but can order them in pretty quickly.

EBC reds. You'll never have to clean brake dust off your wheels.
