Removed center muffler / suitcase and replaced with x pipe .
    Removed rear mufflers.
    Tips from Aliexpress
Turned off soundaktor via Obdeleven , and had a friend reset the ANC via Vagcom.
No valve codes although I have the valve Sims but haven’t installed them.

Zero to minimal drone. I am sensitive to NVH but was not irritated with this . And as the ANC recalibrated it is getting better inside the cabin. Outside still sounds as great as it is.

    Total spent : 360$

Question. What X pipe and what size piping did you use?

    Thanks! Sounds great.

Xpipe: no name brand. Whatever the muffler shop had laying around , and used whatever stock size piping is, didn’t change sizes.

I wanted to go with a GTHaus GTS Exhaust but at $5k I wanted to make sure it was worth what I wanted it for. I wanted more sound rather than performance. My care is APR Stage 2 so I am in no need of power (especially at a cost of $5k for negligible hp).

It has APR downpipes with the mid resonators removed as well as the rear mufflers. I absolutely love the sound. It does have some drone, but I gladly take it because it sounds so menacing. I was able to retain the stock valves as well. Although the sound change is barely anything between the valves open or closed, but what it does is allow for incredible crackles and bangs on downshifting. I can post a video inside the car showing this as well as a driveby, if interested.

Very happy with my decision, which was a total of $400 for labor and piping.
