    White "crystals" on gas tank locket

    Hello guys,
    I have Audi A4 2.0 tdi Allroad 2015 b8.5.
    Last time i refuled i noticed some white/gray "crystals" or dust on the gas tank lock.
    Does anyone have any idea what could it be?

    That's just a build up of DEF ( diseal exhaust fluid) the small cap next to your filler cap. I would check if your caps are faulty.

    Unless someone hates you and dumped shit in your car..... only kidding lol

    Hot water will wash it right off. Its a very common thing on DEF tanks. If it isnt washed off, over time it starts to look like ice crystals.
    Make sure you wash you hands good when your done cleaning that cap off. Diesel Exhaust Fluid is a minor skin irritant. It affects people differently. Some it doesn't affect at all. Usually it'll look like you have a sunburn on your skin, if it irritates you at all.
