Nogaro Blue B9 Allroad Build Thread (1/1)

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Many of you may recall my prior build thread, I decided to start over as I felt the need to restart the thread, as it was starting to look like a drama journal

So this is my build thread-

    --1/1 8W5HNY B9/8W A4 Allroad.
--Nogaro Blau Pearl Effect, full body paint (Q0Q0)
-Standard Molded Roof Liner- Soul Black (A.E option)
-Black Interior with blue contrast stitching.

    See attached window sticker-

    Attachment 139169

My modifications are not limited too, but include the following-

(This list is always on going and I will try to keep it as new/refreshed as possible )

-TAG Motorsports "OEM +" Black optics painted factory grille
-Full black optic window trim, including C/D pillar windows, 8 window trims, RS4 Roof rails.
    -RS4 Spoiler
    -European front bumpers
-Blue stitched 8S TT S Flat Bottom wheel, w/ Audi Sport Carbon fiber Shift Paddles
    -BBS CH-R 20x9 ET25 (Credits to Nima@Nemesis and Mops@Nemesis )
    -Alcantara Shift Cover
-European Style Rear Headrests- Low profile
-Cargo Rail Organizing System in the rear trunk, with built in storage for the partition, and adjustable eyelets
-KW/ABT H.A.S System, with factory EDC dampers
    -034 P34 CAI
    -034 Line of Powertrain upgrades
    -CTS Turbo FMIC, Charge Pipes
    -Milltek Fully Resonated cat-back
    -Alcantara Door panels
    -RS4 Door handles (Interior)
    -Led Glovebox Light
    -"Heartbeat" chime at startup/stop
-APR + Stage 1- Patiently waiting for their DSG Flash if one becomes available
-Audi Exclusive Badging on door panels
-More I'm not thinking of lol

It's been a long process to getting the car, but the patience and pain ultimately was worth it!

How did you get the "Heartbeat" chime?
Do you have any sound clips of your Miltek exhaust?
Did you change the lighting in the trunk?
Do you have a pic of your RS4 spoiler?

    Thanks

Well, the car is going under the knife tommrow for the following components to be installed :)

    -RS4 Black optic Roof Rails
-Black optic window trims, C/D pillar windows
-Black optic painted grille, CTS turbo FMIC, charge pipes.

Once that phase is completed, it’s time to stop, drop and roll! ;)

Did you post a video with the sound? I'm assuming it's when you start the car and is the sound I'm thinking of from the Audi commercials?

Here’s a little sneak peak :) next round is to have the door handles, European bumpers, and RS4 spoiler painted, as well as replacing the rear window glasses.

Would it not be easier and cheaper to just wrap or paint the trim ?

Have you only placed the badge, and so yes, how? Or have to replace the complete upholstery? (Btw, send you a FB messenger message )

The badge was attached with a self locking washer from behind. The door panels have these dots, that indicate where the badging attach.

I plan on getting all of the satin silver trim painted to match the rest of the car in Nogaro blue. Will give it much more of an avant vibe :)

Also photoshopped it lowered expect that soon.

The first B9 Allroad in the world with the ABT HAS adjustable springs. Car rides like a dream, and the adjustability is excellent to have when I move out of winter mode.

The stock bump stops for the rear struts where used instead of the ones from ABT, because it limited suspension travel and didn’t allow the shock to fully compress. Otherwise, everything was straight forward and installed :)

Thank you to @mops@nemesis and Nima for outfitting me with the best suspension around for these cars, and dealing with my questions ;)

Nogaro Blue B9 Allroad Build Thread (1/1)

Added these “allroad” puddle lights from the 20th anniversary edition C8 A6 allroad.

    Reminiscing of Avantoberfest 2019 :)

Mounted the factory wheels for winter driving. Really happy with the ride height.

    Part number 8W9827933BGRU

This comes primed, with the 3rd brake light and associated wiring. Just needs paint and it’s ready to go :)

Sounds good, do you possibly got a link to the seller?

Was it bolt on or did you have to make any modifications for it in order to fit? :)

Thanks for the QUICK reply. I did a search on E-acca.com but unfortunately, most of the parts are not available. The only one that was is the metal extendable piece. 174 EURO

I did find some of them on audiusaparts.com, but the rails are not available from them either. The rest of the parts that were available were $500+? So, I'm guessing this cost you about $700 total?

New custom painted “Black Optics” valence. Since no genuine black optics variation was available, I sent this one to TAG Motorsports for the finishing touch.

Will be getting the side sills, and front valence in silver painted shortly as well. Though for those pieces, I will have it painted in Nogaro Blue, to give the car more of an Avant Vibe.
