Resetting TCM - does it reset tune?

I bought a used 2018 Audi S3 that has a stage 1 APR tune. I am thinking about resetting the TCM as I've heard it learns the driver's driving patterns and adjusts how the gears shift depending on their driving style. I would like to erase the previous owners data so that it can learn my habits from scratch, but I'm not sure if my engine tune would also get erased?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

How are you going to reset the TCM?
    2015 S3 with 210,000 miles with new 2019 Q5 motor. Still going!

I was going to try the below method, not sure if it even works though.

    Try is..see what it does.

The TCU reset wont reset the engine ECU...unless you disconnect the battery...then you will get allot of dash warning lights...

Doing the TCU reset by pressing the gas pedal...should yield something...hopefully what your looking for.

Did you ever try this and did it work?

I’ve got a 2018 Audi S3 that’s entering limp mode when taking off in dynamic with sports shift, it only happens occasionally after i first start the car and go to take off

On my 8V MQB 6 speed DSG Module 22 -Transmission does not offer any adaptations as you might expect for any drive component. Random fooling with basic settings can land you in a pickle. Look at the help requests on the Ross-Tech forums.
