b8 or b8.6 seats in c7 a6

i have a c7 a6 , 2012 -- and the seats are nice, but I want something more sporty, like the s4 seats or the RS7 seats.

sourcing the RS7 seats is proving difficult, and I'd be willing to settle with the s4 seats.

do they fit?

has anyone attempted this swap?

I would imagine S6 seats would be the closest fitment and easier to source than RS seats. Any reason you are looking for B8/B8.5 S4 seats instead of C7 S6 seats?

B8 S Sport seats might actually fit in the C7. If the rails and seat brackets line up you're in, but that's just the start. Next are the connectors for seat functions and seat airbags... Not sure, but I don't believe the B8 seat has a PODS sensor, the C7 does and that will trigger an airbag light.

Pretty sure the rears will not work.

i was really hoping to find maybe black alcantara s4 seats, the rear is no issue , but yeah s6 seats are definitely in mind...

Curious if you had an update? I'm looking at TDI A6s, and would love to toss in my S4 seats that I already have..
