Brand new all-clear full matrix LED housings coupled with all of the needed components to retrofit from the LED or Bi-Xenon headlights. Package includes VAS5054A clone interface for final calibration. Remote calibration of the headlights is included for an easy installation. Instructions for physical installation and coding included. Proper aiming of all of the beams is recommended. Truly the most advanced lighting available for your A5, S5 or RS5. This package is equipped with all new pre-flashed modules so no flashing with VCP (Vag Can Pro) is required.

*Note car must be equipped with windshield mounted camera for the assistance package to use full matrix capabilities.

Unfortunately the RS5 units are only sold through Audi versus being able to get the OEM through the manufacturer. This means pricing is considerably more as Audi tacks on their heavy markup on the RS5 housings.

Alex, Have you done any work to see if the B9.5 headlights will work on the B9. Would love to get laserlight added to my 2019.

Not as of yet. I have not looked at the shape of the lights in depth, but I do know that no pre or post-facelift models share the same bumper covers which would help determine if the shape is compatible. Beyond that the central elec module would need to know what a laser light is. I don't recall seeing that as an option in that module but I could take a peak. Most importantly would want to know on shape and fitment, the hood and fenders are the same shape but that lower edge at the bumper may have changed. To my eye it doesn't look different in some photos and in others it kid of does.

The headlights I am not 100% on yet, but they look the same shape to my eye.

I have facelift taillights here and waiting. VCP has yet to release post-facelift taillight parameters and they are most definitely required. So sadly and impatiently we wait on the taillights, but when those parameters are out should be good to go.

Thinking about your Euro tail lights...saw this post. Can you explain to me what exactly is a matrix headlight? I have a 2019 RS5 Sportback. From RobO's post, it's just the sweeping turn signal? Is there anything different about the light itself? Are US B9 RS5 headlights just regular LED headlights? Might wait on your testing on possibly retrofitting laserlight as per sthulin's query.

"Matrix LED headlights produce the high beam with tiny light-emitting diodes that are bundled in common reflectors or lenses, depending on the model. With their intelligent function, they illuminate the road superbly without blinding other road users.

When the light switch is set to Automatic and the high beams are on, the system is switched on outside of urban areas at speeds of 30 km/h (18.6 mph) and above. As soon as the camera on the windshield detects other vehicles or city limits, the controller switches off individual LEDs or dims them in 64 stages, creating several million possible light patterns. The Matrix LED light masks out other vehicles while continuing to fully illuminate the zones between and adjacent to them.

The LEDs in the Matrix LED headlights also assume the function of cornering lights, shifting the focal point of the light along the curve. This occurs shortly before the wheel is turned, based on predictive route data provided by MMI navigation plus.

Audi introduced the next development stage of this technology, the HD Matrix LED high beam, in the A8 (D5). Each headlight integrates 32 small, individually controllable light-emitting diodes. They are arranged in two rows in a common housing. Thanks to the new configuration and to a low beam that is also variable, the HD Matrix LED headlights illuminate the road particularly dynamically and precisely."

It's a complex system of LED's that work together with the driver's assistance camera do dim, brighten, curve, etc vs. the traditional on/off high beam assistant. You also get a sweeping turn signal as a bonus.

I think you misread the details that Alex posted. Matrix headlights are a fully computerized system that continuously adjust the light pattern and individual LED brightness. You will get much more light on the road where you need it, without it getting in oncoming driver’s eyes. It’s quite a functional upgrade.

The matrix headlight retrofit packages have 100% fully functional matrix headlights as described in Audi's marketing/technical videos with the multiple LED that turn on/off as required while the auto matrix high beams are on. A customer just popped this video up for a matrix kit on their RS7 C7 project which illustrates the full matrix capabilities of these kits even with older models

Note matrix lighting can be hard to see 100% in clear weather and in some situations, but in fog it's very easy to see, follow this link to a video of the same A4 B9 customer with a full matrix headlight kit:

The A5/S5 and RS5 matrix have the LED inside of the high beam and not separated like the older style matrix headlights which are in the older technical video. All the newer models beyond the A5/S5/RS5 have the matrix headlights LED's inside of a contained squarish beam:

RSQ8 for example:



The strips below the squarish LED assemblies are DRL's in the RSQ8 headlight just to avoid confusion. The matrix LED are inside of a square lens assembly just like the A5/S5/RS5 B9.

All Europrice matrix LED full retrofit packages have full matrix high beam matrix LED functionality for the B9 models that we are discussing here. There are different appearances to older and newer matrix lights as this technology was introduced quite a while ago on high end models and is now filtering down to the more standard models like these so it won't have the painfully obvious separated LED like original matrix iterations.

These are not repairable units, just like with the standard LED. You can replace just the housing thought and reuse the attached modules. So far haven't seen issues with standard LED Eurolights or matrix having any LED go out.
