VCDS test to check on overall performance?

Sorry if this is a vague question-- I have a 2013 A4, and I have VCDS. Is there a "baseline" block to measure to test overall engine health (boost pressure, MAF/MAP readings, wastegate control) if I did simple 3rd gear pulls or had it on a dyno? My car feels fine, but I'd like to be able to run tests to see if any of the numbers are out of spec. It's getting up in mileage and I'd like to know if anything is wrong proactively...

You can log individual parameters (actual) and compare them to the requested. The requested will be your "baseline".

not a bad question at all

you're better off logging through Advanced measuring values. There you can see multiple values...12 i think. Also, you may have no choice. Most likely you're A4 uses UDS protocol and won't be able to pull up individual measuring blocks. I know I can't in mine.

Who knows what's going to happen to Rosstech's future. They sure didn't make buyers aware of this issue with the newer Audi's and their cable.

the only way i have found to really baseline is to do all these tests when you know your car is running well. ( no performance issues, no lights etc ) . then log it and print it and put it in a binder. Then you at least have a snapshot of what good looks like for sometime in the future when you may need it.
