    Non-CPO 2018 Audi RS3 for sale

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Guys -

I'm eyeing this 2018 Audi RS3 for sale, it's a non-CPO but does have low miles:

    https://www.motorwerks.com/used-Barr...BWGFF3J1900742

    Here is my concern:

    1.) It's a non-CPO
2.) I'm buying it from an Infiniti dealer
3.) It's a Canadian version of the RS3. Will dealers in the US still cover the car under warranty?

Do you think this dealer would allow me to take the car to a trusted mechanic to have it checked before hand?

    Thanks!

If they don't let you have a mechanic inspect it walk away. There are mobile mechanic who can go onsite and inspect it for you.

At that price, buy new. It doesn't make sense to buy a 2018 for over $55k.

Agree with previous quote. They go for a bit more than 60K new. Mine was 70K++ depends on miles and condition of that car but 55K seems fair if its in good condition.

I would recomend you go to any dealer service dept. and give them the Vin. Tell them your interest in buying. They can verify warranty and tell you of any service history. If it was done at any dealer. Start with Canadian dealers.

I'm interested in the answer to this as well. For instance, I know that FCA doesn't - in the US - honor the warranty of a vehicle that was originally registered in Canada.

I can't believe they are selling new 2019's for under $59K now. Where were these deals when I was in the market for one.

So most of the cars covered under $59K have very weird package combinations.

None of them include: Dynamic Package, Black Optics, and Technology packages in one combo.

    It's one or the other.

What is a must have out of the two or three?

If I had to choose 1 of the 3, I’d get the tech package. The black optics could be done afterwards with vinyl wrap. The dynamic package comes with wheels and tires I’d sell and the exhaust is something I’d remove to replace with an aftermarket exhaust anyways. If not, the tips could easily be painted black. This leaves you without the red calipers, though. If you don’t like the tech package, not everybody does, I’d base my decision on whether or not I wanted red calipers. You could also just look into buying a reasonably priced used RS3 instead of the posted example.

The real question is, has it been tuned?

It's not a straight dollar comparison. What I am saying is that it's totally worth $10k to purchase new and have piece of mind that you didn't get some idiot using JB4 or blowing the motor on an overaggressive stage 2 tune.

IMO, the only must have is Tech. I paid just under $57k for my 2019 w/ Nardo/Tech/All-weather mats.

I can't imagine having this car w/o virtual dash and B&O. Audi of Des Moines got one of the very first 2019s in the Midwest and for some unknown reason, they ordered it w/o tech. It's been available since late April / early May...meanwhile every other car around here has shown up and sold almost immediately, minus dealers who have stop-sale cars.

Black Optics is entirely personal preference. I don't care for it and think it mutes a ton of the RS touches.

Dynamic..eh, again, you're just getting staggered wheels, black tips, and red calipers.

FWIW, I am selling a 2018 (https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...-2018-Audi-RS3) for $55k. It has both Audi Care (48 Mo / 50k Miles) and Audi Pure Protection (48 Mo / 50k Miles). It was purchased from Audi Henderson (if you want to ask them about warranty transfers). It is currently on the floor of my shop (a reputable business in the Las Vegas area...https://carsnv.com).

I don't know if I'd touch this one man. One like someone else above said, how do you know if it's tuned or not? Also that price point is kinda high considering it's a Canadian version. For instance, a brand new one in Canada is like 70k that I saw on Kijit. For prospective thats $55000 USD. These dealers have been purchasing up Canadian stock and making a quick buck bro.

I have a dealer offering a new 2019 Audi RS3 (Glacier White) for: $63440 (before taxes)

    It has:
    Technology Package
    Dynamic Package
    Black Optics Package

Does that sound like a good deal?

    I also found this:

Would anyone ever buy a car from CarMax?

Something I did that saved me a bunch of money on my purchase was going onto TrueCar.com. It ended up saving me about $5k on my TTRS a week ago. You can find great new and used prices through the site.

CarMax has one of the most comprehensive third party warranty services ever. Just ask for it to be rolled into your finance payment or pay out of pocket.

That's impressive, how did you manage to do that?

Negotiated back and fourth online. I know my deal is among the rare ones. All the other dealers that I've tried negotiating with gave me 2,000 off MSRP

If you’re still considering used, here’s a good car to consider getting. Already has the PPF done.
