Big turbo S5 V8 4.2 Build bottom and cast sleeve in the block at this moment car still in tuning progress! Just with 24 psi car made 790whp crazy. This is not my car just wanna share it with you guys. In this video 60-130 run 6.27 on 19psi of boost only. I'll post more vid later

In all fairness, Mario only "works" at the shop that put this car together apparently under the watchful eye of the owner. Said owner seems to be ok with Mario lying on forums and Facebook so I'd be very cautious. And no, Mario does not tune the car, despite what he says. I've seen a video of the tuner tuning the car for them and even says so in the comments below the video.

Judging by the one in-car Dragy video, it's pretty fast and I'm all for pushing the "5" platform further. I'd be interested in how this car runs long-term and whether or not it turns into a money pit. Hope it all works out for the owner.

aint that the TRUTH. I literally saw a post that showed a receipt for shipment and the tracking number from the USPS saying it was received. Instead of going after the USPS to locate the package, the guy attacked the shipper claiming he frauded him and the package never shipped....

SO WAIT..that CARBON COPY with an official USPS stamp, that was posted in the thread, was fake and NO ONE tried to exercise a little critical thinking!? So when someone yells fraud, the whole internet goes up in arms and sides with the "victim". DAFUQ OUTTA HERE!

Now...this is a badass S5! But I wonder how much it's got. I say that because, assuming the S5 puts down around 260whp STOCK on a mustang dyno, it's making about 23hp/psi. It spiked 20psi in the midrange but pretty much settled to 18~19 by redline. With that said, at 24psi, you'd expect more around 815~820whp. But who knows, there's other variables, cam timing, boost taper, etc. Since I don't see the 24psi graph here, i can only speculate.

So the base kit, stage1, i think he said was $13k made in house. But if you want an engine build then that's gonna double most likely. Stock engine can be put to 600whp safely.

Of course there's ways to reduce cost....for instance you dont HAVE to use a $3k Xona rotor turbo hehheh

My comment earlier was not directed at you Oleg, I thought the individual was referring to someone else's post.

Just for the record, and not that you need to hear it from me or my opinion carries any weight, but I think you are an asset to this community and I thoroughly enjoy reading your posts and following your adventures.

Our problem with Mario stems from the fact that he not only has a very shady past but he continues to just point-blank lie and make stuff up right here on this forum and doesn't seem to have changed his ways one bit. How is he, or anyone associated with him expecting any sort of credibility?

Most of us are here as enthusiasts with good intentions and a willingness to learn and share. His motivation is much different and generally not in the best interest of anyone else on this forum. Some people don't have the experience to know he's lying. And if he lies to get you as a customer, what's he going to do once he has you? Having someone do high $$$ work on your pride and joy, someone who has a present day record of being predisposed to deceit, that isn't a combo I'd wish on anyone.

If you want me to post up a recent example, with proof from Mario's boss, I can do so.

Not sure if he was aware since he is on AZ and he posted in regionals asking about M2 Motor Tech and DTT if anyone did work for them..3 weeks later the car is packed up and headed out there. He sees the posts, might be in denial or a little skeptical but one can only hope the car has solid longevity. Mario was maybe at 800 friends on FB at that point, simultaneously developing a kit on a stock motor S5 as well which I think is finished. With this now being such a public build since this platform has had the ceiling on it for so long with the APR/JHM/PES systems that Mario & Co. are really crossing their T's, etc. before it's shipped back. Mario wants to develop something similar for the 8.5 RS5 for someone willing to let go of the car for 5+ months of R&D at least. Sure, it would be awesome to pop the hood at some C&C gatherings and to have some social media presence with the car and this new performance but for all that time and huge cost or down the road reliability issues..not worth the risk of such a headache and potential loss..

S5 v8 value right now is $12-18K + other $25k for full installation of Build motor/Clutch and turbo kit, it's not bad at all total $35-40K in the car and 800-1000whp car. There is other options, do everything your self and you should able to be at $30-35k or buy build civic My price for S4/S5 Single turbo kit installed and tuned pretty much everything that needs to be at 600whp+ for $12-15K and I'm not own performance shop, all the work I do in my small house garage. This days people is so cheap! Performance shop charger at list $80+hr for this kind of work and this is minimum so calculate all the work time and material, utilities bills, rent etc...

You basically get what you pay for you want a ridiculous 800-1000 wheel horsepower S5 turbo built for you it's going to cost money. There's so many people that buy a $15,000 evo 8's from 2003 and then put 40,000 into it. To each his own, it's what you want.

Not only that, there's questionable reliability in EVERYTHING you purchase. You buy that rs7 and other 4.0t cars and look, the damn oil screen clogs and turbos get destroyed.... On an $80k+ investment. You purchase a B8 and the mechatronics fails, you purchase a B7 and timing chain guides fail.

Sure, there's warranties with some of those or TSB but it's a risk you taken especially when you've lightly modded a car and that warranty is no longer covered.

At the end of the day, mod your car to how you see fit and don't worry about resale value. These aren't Porsche

Just so everyone knows, turbobrian, you're Mario's boss and owner of the shop where the S5 in question was built, correct?

So Mario's been driving the same 1,000hp RS4 for years now, huh? Would that be the same one he never made any good drag runs in? The one where he lied about making drag runs and doctored a time slip? The one where he lied about the hp being made? And this whole time, he's driving around on the full monty, the full 1,000 hp? See, god is in the details. There's a whole thread where people figured out he was lying about a drag run (I think it was like an 11 second run) as he was actually 1200 miles away. While Mario was driving his 1,000hp RS4, cars with half the hp were running significantly faster in the 1/4 mile, equipped with JHM's supercharger kit which was bolt-on. Hmm.

I agree with you on the money front. There's a thriving community for forced induction 370Z's. Generally speaking, they can make 700whp+ on the original block, more if it's a built bottom end. To get a car up and running reliably, it's about $20K. Certainly not cheap. And you have a super-fast car that's almost impossible to drive without a lot of supporting mods and a big dollop of talent. But it'll pull 9's at the strip with drag radials.

Reliability means a lot of different things to different people. To me, it's being able to go make runs at the track, glitch free and nothing breaks. Or being able to take it to a track day and not have issues with high temps or even a blown motor/turbo. Or just being able to drive it on the street for a year without lots of down time to little things breaking or the car not running correctly. I've been down that road so many times it's not funny. Whenever you double the hp of a car, there are certain risks you take and things will break. What will it be on the S5?

I think floating all these numbers out there is certainly entertaining and great advertising for the uneducated but lets see the proof. Lets see the owner take it to the strip or report back in a few months time. Let's see HIM run it on an independent dyno. Let's see how much boost is actually being made with the car as-delivered. You're throwing a lot of numbers around which all sound great but you're not mentioning any of the pertinent details. What's the final tune? What fuel? Finally, you've built ONE so far correct? With no real world, long term testing (Mario's car doesn't count because he'd lie about anything and everything that didn't suit his needs) how do you know it's all going to work out long-term? Guess we'll find out!

And honestly, Mario aside, I do hope the car does everything you say it does and the owner enjoys it for a long, long time.

Only things I see that might fail is the factory transmission or the factory cylinder heads. The block is stout. Same blocks as the r8s that run 1000+ hp. All the turbo hot parts. And intercooler parts are built like any other turbo car I build. All high quality. All back purged. All have held up fine with the hundreds of cars ive custom made. So what exactly are you getting at?

It wasn't ten years ago, far from it. He's continued his ways through this year, just recently, in this section of the forum. The whole claim "he'd" tuned multiple RS5's on ethanol, all to drum up business. It's just shady. He isn't ever going to change. And this isn't about me.

I have no issue with you or the car in question other than you don't seem to care about your employee's past and present. Like I said, I'd like to see the platform pushed. I think it's fantastic and follow Oleg's journey on multiple platforms. This is way off the topic right now! I posted this just to share with you about first V8 build motor and big ass turbo in US. This is very interesting project in curious about because I want to build RS5 with similar setup and this build give me some idea what to do and expect from RS5 ! I wish someone did similar build as my S5 that way I could save money and time. So please respect my my thread about this V8 S5 Turbo this is unique build and enjoy upcoming updates and video. If you wanna talk about Mario please open another thread !
