I have been to both AutoWurks and Huber’s Auto Group in Ephrata, who have both treated me well. They are more euro-specializing garages but don’t seem afraid of performance work either.

Do you know if AutoWurks would allow you to bring in your own parts? I like to use FCPEuro for the lifetime warranty, but Huber's Auto Group said no to me on that one. Glad to see there are active members in the central PA area. I am chasing an oil leak right now that is driving me nuts.

They haven't ever had any complaints with my car, and its tuned and loud, but admittedly I was only there for paint work and a recall.

They probably would, I have brought my own parts from FCPEuro before and they installed them, but they can be picky about the part brands. They really only prefer OEM parts, but I haven't had a problem with that.

I've been going there since 2006 and I always got the feeling they did not like tuning and customizing. When I put springs on my A4 that dropped it the bare minimum, they always used it as an excuse for stupid stuff. "We couldn't wash your car because it's lowered." "We didn't want to do such and such because the car's been modified."

I did have work done once at APTuning in Lebanon and they seemed OK. Wish they were closer, though.

If you're willing to drive up to Harrisburg, there's European Import Center, which is fabulous. I met the owner Paul over 20 years ago autocrossing. They only do VW, Audi, Porsche. VERY honest.
