Does anyone have any Draggy times with this set up. Im thinking about doing this but I need to know 0 to 60 and quarter mile times first. I like the idea of a warranty but is it really worth the 5k.

I am not aware of anyone in a TTRS using APR-91 file but I've seen with the Unitronic that you should achieve similar to stock-93 0-60 (3.2s) and 10.9/11.0 at sea level. In Nampa it's gonna be a bit slower.

IMO - no it's not worth the 5k, that's obscene for quite a small gain over what's achievable on stock calibration with a better IC and a bit of extra ethanol in the tank (I ran 3.2s 0-60 and 11.2 1/4 full stock on an E20/93 blend). I think with my Neuspeed + PS4Ss, 034 inserts, MSS track - all improving grip and traction - that would have got me 11.1 maybe just below, and no drivetrain warranty impact.

As it happens, I went Unitronic Stg2 before I had chance to test that theory, I enjoyed 12 months and 10k of my warranty...

I need to do some more runs on Stg2 93 to complete my portfolio of results for comparison. Stg1+ ran 10.89@127 on full stock hardware and I expect it to be worth a couple of 10ths over that.

My Stg2 E85 PB is 10.22@137 with 500ft DA, ran another 10.22@135 in 1200DA with a better launch. I'm thinking to give it a try on R-compound 18s at a prepped track and see how close to 9s I can get without shedding weight or braking capability.

APR Plus is $1,900 USD, I have no idea where you heard $5K. This is an advertised 91 octane tune that takes you from stock 394/354 to approximately 450/450 and provides powertrain protection through the APR dealer network of which several are actual Audi dealerships.

It's fairly well documented that adding an aftermarket intercooler and turbo inlet along with higher octane will produce more power than what is quoted. Certainly not E85 levels but I've seen 440/440 at the wheels in a video posted here somewhere. That's getting close to 500 crank which in my mind is well worth $1,900 if you include peace of mind as well.

APR Plus Stage 1 includes the tune, IC, and inlet for however much, then after install costs it should be around 5k. All that brings you right under 500hp according to their site. And you get their warranty. Yeah you can just get the tune but why not get as much as you can? Also, it really doesn't mean much when I have absolutely no clue what I would get out of it in terms of speed. I mean why do any of it of it's just gonna knock off .2 of my times.

Also I really appreciate you guys taking the time to respond. It's been absolutely absurd trying to get any kind of feedback from anywhere else.

I know exactly where you are coming from. I'm on the fence between the plus tune and the selectable which brings E85 into play. I already have a stack of hardware waiting to be installed once everything is here.
The plus tune may be enough given it yields nearly 100 additional horsepower and even higher amount of additional torque with these supporting mods.

WOW that’s super impressive with a stock turbo🙌. Did u remove any interior pieces or lite weight mods?

Only 'lite weight' mods are the Neuspeed rse102's, and I run without the parcel shelf . I have the IE downpipe which equals OEM weight so nothing gained there either, in fact the Forge Intercooler is +5kg over OEM

Also to say, $1900 sounds more reasonable to me for APR Plus, 5k makes more sense if that includes a bunch of hardware.

@HHughs - nice of hardware there - I'd get that lot done first then decide if you feel the need to map it. For me, stage 1 power was a sweet spot, although stage2 and/or E85 are pretty much 'the same again' it's alot of extra cost and no warranty option!

Excuse my ignorance (a bit new to modding, but)... I was considering APR Plus for my TT RS. I'm curious: If you get that ECU tune and decide you want to add more hardware later (e.g. intercooler and inlet) then do you need to pay again for a different tune optimized for that hardware or will it work with the existing tune?

Going to answer my own question. I just got the APR Plus upgrade today (loving it, btw). The answer to this is yes & no. Yes, new software may be needed, however you can still install new hardware without having to necessarily update the ECU again (if you already have the stage one APR Plus). However, they apparently do provide additional software for additional hardware upgrades (e.g. Stage 2) however it's not necessary but it is ideal to have. If that is done, you don't have to pay the full price (e.g. like my cost of $1,899 for APR Plus) but instead is some lesser amount since the main software package has already been installed; or so I was told

Also GaBoYnFla - That's strictly with the APR Plus ECU tune, correct? If so, that's pretty impressive.

Yes, only other mods are H&R springs.....stock Pirelli PZero's. I'm sure the Michelin PS4 would do better.

Bunch of questions (if you don't mind): I presume these springs right? https://www.moddedeuros.com/products...8-ttrs-28728-1

How do you like 'em so far? Too low or still good for daily driving? Do you have the magnetic ride in your car?

I've had 4 TTs (2 TTSs and 2 TTRSs) with these springs....I like them a lot. They take the rocking out of the car and aren't too firm for my taste. All had Magride. They are not too low and take just the gap out of the wheel wells.
