    Bolts for plastic valve cover

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
15 bolts for the plastic B7 Audi S4 V8 valve cover. Barely used. $60 shipped in a USPS flat rate box.

The valve cover these bolts came off is cracked and not usable. Brand new these bolts cost $90 at list price plus taxes and/or shipping.

May wanna list in a4 section, cuz look same as 2.0t ones. Ones for my 2.0t are almost $5/ea. If they're different, just ignore. Free bump, lol.

They do look similar and maybe are the same physical size/length but are silver instead of black like the 2.0T bolts.

The S4 part number is 03G128773A and according to ECS it only fits the plastic valve cover B6/7 S4s and V8 Q7s.

As the B7 A4 2.0T part number is 06B103831J. It also fits like every timing belt style 2.0Ts, B6 A4 3.0s, 3.2s, 3.0Ts, 5.2 V10s, TDIs (both I4 2.0 TDI and V6 3.0 TDI), VW NA 2.5s,and some 4.2s like the FSI A8/S5/RS5. Basically that valve cover bolt was used on a lot of engines!

Are these bolts not Torque to yield? Once they're used, its not advisable to reuse?

You are wrong. Currently list price is $6.24 each for the part number 03G128773A. So $6.24 for each bolt times 15 bolts is a total of $93.60 plus sales tax depending on where you live. Sales tax is six percent in Virginia so that would be a total of $99.22. My listing of $60 shipped is still a good deal.

Your 2.slowT bolts are cheaper because they fit more models and thus Audi made more of them.

No problem. Usually I see people replacing a few bolts at a time because the back corner bolts have to be broken to get off sometimes. Good luck with your car!

So you are upset for being called out when you trolled my listing and were wrong from the start. That is sad. Just accept the fact that you made a stupid mistake and move on to somewhere else.

My listing is still cheaper than that since I am asking $60 shipped with a small USPS flat rate box at almost $8. The bolts literally were tightened one time and don't otherwise go bad overtime unlike other wearable parts like clutches, brakes, or tires.

By the way, ECStuning still had the bolts listed for $6.24 each at the time of my last post as well. Do some more research and educate yourself since you really appear to need it.

What do you mean educate myself. I originally was agreeing with you, that theyre around $5/ea. Didn't mean EXACTLY... And I did "research" and found them for $4.20, with a simple google search, and will ship free if full set bought. Typical compare to highest price...I'm not upset about anything, lol. Went from simply agreeing with you that theyre not cheap, to THIS. Oh, and thats $63/shipped with warranty...Good luck dude, your gonna need it.

You trolled my listing with the wrong information and yet won't admit your mistake plus move on so you are fair game.

I very well could have listed the full retail price of $8.12 per bolt and yet went off the list price by the dealer and what ECStuning had them listed for at the time. The bolts can sit in my tool box for the rest of time until I will eventually use them for a local car that I service just like some of the other parts that I have had listed in the past. At least I threw them up here to try to help out other enthusiasts in the meantime. Oblivious people that want stuff given away for free are a reason why a lot of good parts just get tossed.

    This will be fun.

Again, in case you didn't get it yet, I was originally AGREEING with you. Till you came back like a dick. What do you want me to admit?? Yes, there are different prices, but I usually look for best price when buying something. Its not wrong info that you can buy them new for same price. And your other little comments to other post, are also pretty dumb, cuz wrong on the ones ive seen so far. But whatever, do what ya want, don't really care. But guess its all about last word..

You were not agreeing with me but instead trying to undermine me from a lack of research and ignorance. Don't come into a thread unprepared and try to derail the original poster especially when they are trying to sell something that you are unfamiliar with. This should be basic common sense but you must not have any. The truth hurts since you have resorted to calling me a dick for pointing out your mistakes, that is very childish. My posts are only the beginning unless you go away now and stop trying to derail my thread/s when you are in the wrong.
