    Hi,
First time poster here. Got a problem with my A7 air con. Lost the cold air, took the car to gas it up, was told the condenser is leaking, installed a new condenser, filled it up with gas, no leaks, holding pressure but still no cold air (clutch on the air con pump is engaged). connected it to vcds and this is what it reads:

No other fault codes at the time of the scan. Any ideas suggestions. There is some green oxidation around a/c pressure sensor/ switch, will try to clean it tomorrow but if that was the problem would it not produce a sensor specific fault code? Any help would be much appreciated.

How i found the fault.. Plugged it back in to VCDS went to HVAC section opened advanced measuring values and started going thru the readings... got to Pressure Switch values and found it reading 33BAR. (cars a/c was re-gassed by a garage 4 days prior, at first thought they fcked up) i knew the max pressure before the compressor switches off/is not to allowed to come on is 32 BAR. took the pressure sensor/switch off to see if it measures the atmospheric pressure correctly (1BAR) and it didn't, still was reading 33BAR so got a new Pressure Sensor/switch and VOILA!!! runs like a charm.. ice cold air again :)

Hope this helps someone at some point.

Have you tried clearing the faults and seeing if they come back, or the a/c works?

yeap, tried clearing them, came back straight away, a/c still doesn't work. Ordered a new pressure sensor just in case its faulty but doesn't show up as faulty.

Thanks for posting your solution Seems like my pressure switch is working fine, but I'm curious (if you remember) what the reported values were with the new switch? My AC seems to work fine, but is definitely more on the cool than cold side, though I understand a lot of that comes from the car "deciding" how cold it needs to be based on other sensor readings.

FWIW, on a 65℉ day with ~90% humidity and the car parked, the switch read
    - 12.6 bar with the AC on auto at 75℉
    - 11.6 bar with the AC off
    - A peak of ~21 bar when setting the AC to Lo and max fan speed, which eventually settled down to ~15 bar
