whats your model? mine's 2006 A4 quattro with 6 speed tip tronic( pre filled with tan coloured ATF from factory)
did you flush the tranny before changing? I am worried about the Audi oem fluild and liquimolly fluid mixing together to create some gui stuff

Same as yours but I have an Avant , had the Og fluid and filter with 160,000 miles on it. Flush the tranny ? For what? Dump out old and with the car running pump in new , run it through the gears , hold it in each gear for 15 seconds put back in park fill again till it won’t take any more , then put the fill plug back in and shut it off

I replaced the gasket , filter with oem and used this fluid took me no time at all , (compared to some repairs ), took longer for the car to cool down .

Do you have all the right tools to do this ? I had to buy an Allen head socket set for the correct size , and a pump from harbor freight.

If you search the b7 a4 section the post I followed and asked the same questions you are about 5 or 6 weeks ago , I think beefski started it and I was the last to post on it... I listed what I used for tools in the thread.

When fluids are compatible they will mix or blend just as it were the same fluid , just might change the color some lol

I have all the tools for this and currently waiting on the Rosstech cable to complete the job. I bought about 7 quarts of 1800 top tech( 1 quart extra just to be cautious).

Yeah and slide it in pretty deep so when you pump it can’t push back out , at first it will seem like it won’t fit far in but does no issue, I got it in 4inches maybe more and started pumping , I had an empty gallon washer jug that was dry and I fillled that and pumped from it. I got just over 4 liters out but with the filter used just under the 5 to fill , was like 3 tablespoons left out of the 5th liter

I did the fluid change yesterday. I got about 5 1/2 liters out and managed to squeeze in 5 liters on new fluid. it would dump if I pump more fuild though

if I am not wrong the amount of new fluid should be atleast a little higher in quantity than the old the fluid.

I didnt see any issues with tranny yet.

You run it through all the gears and hold it in each for about 15 seconds

    yep. I did it.

initially it took 2 liters before starting the car.

then after that starting the car and running thru gears probably 3 times took another 3 liters

I'm running it in my tiptronic as of last week. Got about 6L in so far, gonna run it for 1000 kms then drain again and do the filter.

Hope everyone is using VCDS to monitor temps and running through the gears.

I used VCDS but couldnt manage to squeeze that last 1/2 liter. Not sure how this will affect tranny.

BTW at what temperature, you tranny started dumping fluid out?
