Lightbulb Neuspeed RSe102 Wheels - Opinion

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I'm trying purchase Neupseed RSe102 Wheels Gloss Black for my 18 RS3 Nardo Gray.

I'm planning to use my OEM tires on it 255/30/19 and 235/35/19.

Any suggestions on fitment and also size of wheels that would well suit for OEM tires would be appreciated.

    Thank you

A note for the record: 9" is not hub centric only 8.5"

I ran 19x9 et45 squared but a better fitment would probably be 19x9 et40. Attached are photos of 19x9 Et45 with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 245/35/19 tires squared 8C9014A1-44CF-485B-A7C1-2E4EC50F5B9A.jpegIMG_8896.JPGIMG_7262.JPGIMG_5162.jpg

    If it were me...

If I only cared about fitment with the OEM tires, I would use 8.5" front, 8" rear.
If I wanted to continue to run staggered in the future with different tires, I would run 9" front, 8.5" rear.
If I wanted to go square with tires in the future I would run 8.5" all around with 245/35, and 9" with 255/30 or 265/30.

I prefer to keeps offsets close to OEM to maintain factory geometry parameters like scrub radius and such (for the front, at least).

I went 19 x 9 square rs 102s black, just like rs0005..I'd go 8 x 8.5 if I did it over again so it stays hubcentric. 9 inch is not hub centric.

I am looking at Neuspeed RSe102's for my 2019 RS3. I plan to run my stock tires; Pirelli P Zeros (255/30/19 and 235/35/19.) I called Neuspeed about fitment and they recommended that I run 19X9 and 19X8.5. Having read the previous posts, i asked whether that set-up would be hubcentric. They stated that both wheels would be hubcentric??

The answer is two posts above you, use +45 in the 9" wheel and they will be hubcentric

Are you not concerned about the increased in tire diameter, which is about 9% above factory tire diameter?

I really like the look of this red on black look! F***ing Sexy! Does the red on the rim come like that or did you have that done yourself?

My ask where you found theses wheels in this fitment? Every store I've checked online shows the 19x9 ET 45 to be 66.5 center bore/57.1mm (with hub ring)

if your wheels have rings they are not hub centric.

Confirmed with neuspeed only the 8.5 is hub centric.

The 9" come with rings in the box to make them fit.

what the advantage of running a 9" vs the 8.5? Is it only for looks?

Mine came with the ring (19x9 et40)

Depend on the tire size your are gonna run and your preference. Wider tire ---> wider wheels ideally.

Most likely, 9 inch wheels are gonna be heavier than 8.5.

With getting these rims in 19x9 et45 with Michelin ps4s 255/30 is anyone experiencing rubbing? If so is it cause you lowered your car or does this setup rub on the factory suspension?

Depending on offset of course, but assuming 45 or so, lowered it may rub on the little “mud flap thingy”. I removed mine, and no problems since.

i went off of what Paul from supreme powers realyed to me :

Depends on what tires you want run.

No fuss specs lowered up to 1”:

    9 +40 with 245 max. Most flush.

    9 +45 with 245 or 255. Slightly inboard

8.5 +45 with 245 Or 255. Most inboard; sits same as Oem front wheels.

245/35-19 on 9 +40 is most flush but for track 9 +45 will help keep rubber and debris in the wells vs on the doors. It sits 5mm more inboard.

Both will go great with a white car but I would go for the first ones as everyone does black and also it's less easy to see the detail of the wheel in black.

The 18" Neuspeed on our 2019 RS 3 is a SIGNIFICANT improvement in fast back road performance as well as street performance, using 245/40/18 Michelin AS3+ with their 0.7 inch taller sidewall versus the factory summer only Pirelli's, which didn't work at ll in our 26F weather when we bought the Audi in January. The Neuspeed is one of only two 18" wheel mfg's that will clear the RS 3's very large front brake caliper, versus scrapping on it! And the taller sidewall tires are a BIG improvement over the 235/35/19 setup, in terms of improved ride quality and comfort.
