One tenth off your 60' will drop 2 tenth on your ET so you would be in the low 12's.
I Agree!! When launching the S4 if I released the brake while rpm's were just about to peak it would, at times result in slightly better trap speeds and times. I really didn't get a lot of time on the 1/4 mile track which is Atlanta Dragway and was only able to get three 1/4 mile runs in before someone wiped out and ended the night... The next weekend at the 1/8 mile track - Atlanta Motor Speedway is a single elimination competitive Friday night event which is held in the pit lane and they do not provide time slips. You lose and you go home.. I was able to make a few test runs before the event but for some reason all the runs I made were invalid on the dragy so I deleted. I was put in the Tuner Class which made the most sense and I picked what I thought I was the fastest car to run against for the first run and was eliminated by a stage II Stinger (I know...they are fast but that hurt) and went home early instead of sticking around all night to get eliminated on the last run which usually takes place around 1:00am.

My 2019 for comparison
My invalid run on dragy with a -1.4% slope
330ft 4.93
1/8: 7.58@92.71
2600ft DA
its hard to get a valid run and not go to jail but i do have a valid run(+.2% slope) of 8.02@71.92 with a 5.01 330ft where i let out at 75 and coasted to the 1/8th DA around 3300ft.
Now that its 100+f outside I wont be getting out to try any runs till fall.
All this in AZ.
I almost didn't post any of my initial results in fear of causing an uproar or some BS performance controversy on the 2019's. That is not my intention at all and I truly believe that platform is one of the best out there and that's why I bought one.. It's very difficult to get valid runs where I am in north GA. too. Between the police, mountainous roads and traffic it's nearly impossible. It's hard to get a flat 60 mph run in let alone a valid 1/8, 1/4 or 1/2 mile run. I did have several 1/8 mile runs in the mid/high 7 second range but were invalid so I did not post or share and deleted.

With that high of a DA im not surprised by your times. Most of the guys running in the 11's have done so in great weather.
are you logging the car at all? this engine is very sensitive to fuel quality and that could also be contributing to your problems
Thanks Brian. I've been learning from you since you purchased the S4 B8.5. You have always been extremely respected and very professional and helpful on these forums and I truly value your opinion. Fuel and DA is what I contributed to the not so impressive times but wanted to hear what people had to say.
For both events I used Shell 93 V-Power. I'm sure it's a summer blended fuel here in GA and our options are limited. I'm going to switch away from Shell and hit the track again in a few weeks with a different fuel. I have not conducted any logging but will now...

Perhaps gas quality is contributing to the lack of MPH too. As others have said, my quickest 60' times have come from being on the launch limiter very briefly.
I personally run in Dynamic, ESC full off, and manual mode. I let the car auto shift 1-2 and then manually shift.
Fuel can definitely be a contributing factor.. No more Shell for the RS.. I did not launch it in manual mode last weekend but will give a shot with the dragy and different fuel when I get back in the country.
