Well I pulled the trigger on a black Inno Wedge 665. Some how some way Amazon prime has it for 530.00 and free shipping. This has to be some sort of mistake but I'm about to find out. I will post up some pictures once it arrives.

Looks great! How's the wind noise with it? I originally had a yakima for about a day and returned it for a thule. Wind noise on the yakima was outrageous, the thule is barely louder than just having the bars on

Thanks ! So I haven't had it at "Highway" speeds yet but up to 50MPH it is barely noticeable. As a matter of fact I would almost say at speeds under 50MPH it has helped reduce the noise the bare stock bars made.

Just wondering how is your box holding up? Did you have an opportunity to test it loaded on expressway yet? Or driving during rain. This box is on my top 2 list and trying to find out as much as possible. Thanks!

So I haven't loaded it up yet. I have driven it on the highway and in the rain and it was flawless. At speed (80MPH) it is unbelievably quiet. I run with the roof rails on all the time and they are loud. This box acts like a ferring and actually creates a much more pleasing sound than the bars alone. It makes noise but it dosen't buffer like the bars. I absolutely love the box. I go on vacation in a few weeks so I will be loading it up then. I'm not sure how other boxes are built but this one has 2 aluminum square bars near the clamps running almost the full length of the box. It is very rigid.

The lines on this box match the lines on the B8 very well. So far the only complaint I have is the INNO sticker on the ass end of the box. That will be coming off.

Thanks again! Your ride/setup looks sharp, love it. I think I'm sold, originally I almost pulled a trigger on Thule Motion XT L until I cam across INNO and its overall shape, plus its more rare. Seems as most get the 660 model, but with 2 kids I could use more space. I am near Chicago and the closest model that I could go an see in local shops is the 660. So thanks for the photos. I am sure you already know but heat up the sticker with heat gone or hear dryer and it should come right off.

Thanks ! I read a bunch of forum posts before going with this one and most people say if you are going to get one go with the biggest one that fits and you won't regret it. I personally feel like the 665 fits the Q5 better than the 660. Here is a pic of the 660 sitting on a Q. While the 660 and the 665 are the same height the 665s length makes it appear sleeker and more aerodynamic.img_2404_a52d74dcbd79691ff3fab5d8fc0732173977dd43.jpeg

Loading up for vacation. The INNO 665 didn't disappoint. There is a beach cart , Body board, 2 beach chairs , pack of TP and 2 rolls of paper towels. LOL ! That is going to clear up a ton of space inside the Q ! 20190704_124526.jpeg20190703_202243.jpeg

Just filled up the tank and with a 100 miles mixed driving and the 155 mile trip (fully loaded) to OCMD I got 18.49 MPG. That was at fast lane MPH speeds.

How easy is it to load/unload? Just probably need a small step stool to get up there I would think, that is my only gripe with roof boxes. The risk of dropping something and damaging my paint/trim, also blocking the sweet pano roof.
That's why I might buy a hitch cargo carrier for extra room.

It was real easy but I'm 6ft 8in tall so that probably still doesn't answer your question. When I needed to reach all the way across the box I just opened the rear passenger side door and stepped on the door sill.
