    2019 Top Speed?

    Alright,

Since the Dynamic Plus package is gone for the 2019's, is there still an option to raise the top speed to 174? The only mention for top speed I see on Audi's website states a top speed of 155.

If not, does the dealer have the ability to do it now? Were the CCB's really the reason why they would offer/not offer the higher top speed?

    Thoughts?

i would be curious how many RS3 owners remain stock after 6 months of ownership. only stating this to ask you if you will or never will tune your rs3? if you tune, issue solved once they break the 2019 code....

probably 155mph. The 174 was dynamic plus only and that just raised the limiter, no extra power.

Issue is in stock form you will need quite the safe long runway to hit the limiter. So if you are looking to do it probably best getting a tune anyway so you aren't WOT for 2 miles.

I have a 2018 which I bought in Canada. Here you can buy the Audi Sport Package which I believe gave me the Fixed Ride Suspension, Carbon Fibre engine cover, red brake calipers and the 280 kph speed limiter increase. We are not forced to buy the Carbon Ceramic brakes to get these features.

Probably in the minority, but I was a part of that group. The car's just great how it comes and I really wanted to enjoy that before I made any changes - and now that I've put more into it ...

Based off the Online configurations... In the US there is no option to raise the limiter, in Canada you still can.

The only thing I noticed is the Fixed Suspension is listed as a 0 dollar option in the US with no description with it (could possibly come with this option)

On the Canadian builder, the fixed suspension is still part of the Sport Package which includes the raised limiter, fixed suspension and the carbon fibre engine cover.

I would seriously not recommend taking the car out there and try to run top speed. You will need a good couple of miles of stretch to open it up. Lost of things can go wrong. You will be better off just putting the car in a lift or on a dyno and let it roll and watch the speedometer. You could also just sent an e-mail to Audi and find out.
8V RS3 [email protected] mph (ran a few 11.7s stock and ran 118+mph several times)
8Y RS3 k&N filter ran [email protected] (ran 11.6 5 times and trapped 120+ several times)
    at 3100ft elevation

Yes.. You'd have to take a little detour through Mexico of course.

I'm with ya (and I'm also in MD). I also left the car stock for the first year. Now I'm trying to decide what to do... wheels are already purchased as can be seen in other threads.

To be honest, most of my driving doesn't really allow for high speeds of any kind. The time it takes to get up to the speed limit is what is important to me. LOL! I was just wondering if the dealer will now raise the limiter since it isn't a "packaged" option in the USA. It seems like I kicked off a "chip it/ mod it" discussion that I wasn't trying to start.
