    Hey,

So i decided to scan my car today, seems i have a new code.

    17800 camshaft position sensor bank 2 (G163)
p1392 -001- open short to plus - intermittent

    and

    18010 - power supply terminal 30
    p1602 -002-voltage too low intermittent

Just wondering where on the motor that sensor would be. As far as i understand bank 2 is on the left side of the motor when facing foward from inside the cabin.

    Thanks

Could be a failing cam pos sensor. They are at the back of each head held by a single hex scew (5mm I think) and have electrical connectors. Remove plug and screw and gently wiggle it out. They look similar to abs wheels sensors.

The second one sounds like the code I got when my battery terminal connection was loose. It might also be related to failing alternator regulator (brushes).

I'd clear them and see if/how soon they come back.

Intermittent "short to +" can mean a flaky ground connection for that sensor. Often, when a sensor looses the ground reference, the output signal will be the same as its power wire voltage.
