VIN: WAURD68D51A096691
Clean Title in Hand
No Accidents
Non-Smoker
Asking Price: $18,500 OBO
Contact: 301-356-1702 initial contact via text is preferred because I typically ignore calls from numbers I don't recognize. DM'ing me on here is fine too.
Current Dyno Numbers: 384 whp and 484 ft lbs on 93 octane with tuning revisions still ongoing. Car is an awesome candidate for Tial 770's, GT28's, or a Big Single Turbo. I built the engine and the rest of the car with the intent of going xr770's, but priorities have changed so it's time to move on. Not that it matters but I have north of $40,000 in parts receipts for this thing, nevermind labor.
Miles on Chassis: 168,201 and Climbing
Miles on Built Engine: 8,501 and Climbing
Exterior Color: Silver
Interior: Black Leather
I have receipts and or pictures to backup all claims made.
Engine:
*** Block Labor:
-Prior to being pulled for this build the block held apr stage 3 power for 80k miles.
*** *** -Hot tanked and chemical stripped to remove grease and corrosion.
-Magnafluxed to check for cracks, specifically around main cap webbing.
-Bored to 83mm increasing displacement from 2.7L to 2.8L
-Honed to final size for desired piston to wall clearance of 0.0038”
-Decked on both cylinder banks.
-Original crankshaft magnafluxed, checked for size, and journals polished.
-Pistons fit to rods and wrist pin clearance checked.
-Piston rings gapped.
-Entire rotating assembly balanced.
-Block painted with engine specific cast iron gray paint by machine shop.
Block Parts List:
-It should be noted I’m not going to list out every single bolt, o-ring, gasket, and sensor that was replaced along the way. I have pages upon pages of receipts from the likes of ecs tuning and eeuroparts detailing all the small stuff that went into this build. Said receipts can be made available for any interested party to examine prior to purchase. Rest assured, nearly everything was new when this engine went together.

Exhaust System:
*** -ASP 3” Downpipes. These were originally catted downpipes, but I removed the cats to be able to play with anti-lag. I saved them and they can go with the car if the new owner wants to have them re-installed.
*** -Vibrant TurboFlex Couplings
*** -3” Marman Flanges
*** -Borla Cat-back System with the Resonator and Tail Muffler. This system originally necked down to the factory exhaust pipe diameter of 2.25”. I cut that portion out and tig welded in a 3” Y section with extensions to connect up to the 3” downpipes. Marman flanges were used to make the connection. So now from the turbo(s) back is all a minimum diameter of 3”. I have pictures with the car up on a lift showing the underside. **
*** *** -New OEM EGT sensors. Their functionality is retained in the tune the car has
right now, but they could just as easily be coded out.
Transmission and Drivetrain:
*** -01E professionally rebuilt 57k Miles ago with an advanced automotion (Scotty) kit that included the updated 1-2 collar, bearings, and all synchros/seals. It shifts about as good as I think anyone would expect an 01E to shift. No problems to report. I’ve always used Fuchs Titan Sintofluid in it.
-Raxles Front Axles 3k miles ago.
-Original Stock Rear Axles
-Stock Rear Differential. I use the same Fuchs fluid in it.
-Stock Shift Linkage.

-Ringer Racing Stock Style Throwout Bearing 3k Miles ago

-Unless noted otherwise all suspension components were installed at 153k miles.
-Koni Sport/Koni Yellow Adjustable Shocks
-Eibach Pro Kit Lowering Springs

*** -Girodisc Two Piece Slotted 350mm Rotors
*** -EuroBraking Caliper Bolt Kit
*** -Girodisc Magic Pads

*** -Pagid rear brake pads at 153k miles
*** -Brembo rear brake rotors at 153k miles
*** -New Brake Master Cylinder at 153k miles
*** -Handbrake works as designed, which is a whole lot better than the one in my e46 bmw. People who have owned e46’s will understand that joke.
Wheels/Tires:
*** -Car will come with two sets of wheels plus one full size spare. Nine wheels in total. All wheels are the oem 18x8 BBS CH from a B7 S4.
-The summer set is finished in dark hyper silver and has 225/40-18 continental extreme contact sport tires with 7-8/32” of tread depth left. No curb scrapes or any flaws for that matter to be noted.
-The winter set is finished in gloss black powder coat and has 225/40-18 bridgestone blizzak ws80 snow tires mounted. The tires have one season of use on them so I’d estimate 9-10/32” tread depth. They’re in my storage unit right now otherwise I’d go measure them. No curb damage or scrapes on this set either, but there are maybe 6-10 small rock chips between the four wheels.
-The ninth wheel is the original silver and currently located in the spare tire area in the trunk. It does have a curb scrape which is why it’s the spare.
-ECS Tuning 15mm wheel spacers on all four corners
-All the wheels are straight and true, no bends or cracks.
-VW Lug Bolt Covers
Body/Exterior:
-Sport package aluminum housing mirrors with auto dimming. Mirror glass is in good condition. Just replaced the passenger side mirror glass two months ago because the fluid leaked out of it.
-Windshield replaced when I got the car and is still free of cracks/chips.
-No exterior body modifications to note.
-New S4 trunk badge that went on shortly after I got the car. *
-Car is in good shape for it’s age. I think the pictures show that, but it’s not without flaw. It has the typical paint chips and dings you’d expect to find on an 18 year old car. There’s a scuff on the passenger side of the rear bumper that was filled in with touch up paint. Same thing with the door moulding on the drivers side front door and also a spot on the bottom of the front bumper on the drivers side. I’ve tried to keep any paint chips that pop up filled with touch up paint. I get plenty of compliments on how the car looks, especially when people find out how old it is.
-Paint was coated with Carpro Cquartz in December 2018.
-New OEM windshield wiper transmission Sept. 2018
Interior:
-Seats are in good shape, no tears or rips in the leather. ***
-Armrest is good too.
-Seat heaters are pretty much useless for their intended purpose. They get hot in a few select spots but not enough to really do much.
-Has typical b5 s4 headliner sag.
-Some fingernail marks on the soft touch paint on the interior door handles
-Woodgrain trim on the doors and dash but I replaced the hazard surround trim and the shifter trim with the sport package black trim.
-Pixels in the gauge cluster center display are partly dead.
-Dual gauge pod on the steering column. Left side has an aem x-series wideband that reads from the passenger downpipe and the right side has a podi boost gauge.
-I put in a new in dash cup holder when I got the car.
-Factory audi radio with a blitzsafe aux cable box.
-Sunroof works if you open and close it incrementally. I never used it beyond checking to see if it worked when I got the car.
-No water leaks.
-Complete factory jack tool kit in the trunk.
-Cold weather package car so it has the ski bag that comes out from the rear seat armrest. I know that’s a very important feature to nearly none of us.
-Tint job on the rear windshield isn’t the greatest but I wasn’t going to rip it off because the rear defroster still works.
-Has the audi all weather floor mats front and rear.
-RS4 perforated leather shift knob
-Driver and passenger power seats work in all directions
-Glovebox soft open feature still works
-All windows work and so does the one click up and down function.
-Central Locking System Works
-Key Fob Lock and Unlock Works
-No Check Engine Light. Hasn’t had one since the bugs were ironed out in the beginning.
