Looking at an ara blue rs3 with 18000 miles. Appears unmodified and is at a Audi dealer. They are asking 54800 for it.

Is the car fully loaded? $55k seems a bit high for 18000 miles and a 2017 model. Ara blue is the most expensive paint with the exception of custom colors. I would shop around more(car gurus, carfax).

That’s a killer deal! ^^, I got my 18 RS3 white on black optics for 53 but had 10k miles. Sheesh.

The 17s are the fastest, factory freak status. Launch edition ftw.

I’ve been shopping around. They are all crazy money. That’s on the lower side of the scale. It has everything except black optics and the crazy ceramic brakes.

^^ For that money just get a new one. I ordered mine at almost full asking price, I had little to no choice, it was the first allocation of the only dealer in town but I wanted one really bad. You can look around and if you are willing to travel you might be able to scoop a new one for maybe 3 or even 4% but the dealers know that this car is very limited and that the end of production suppose to be near.

I hate to tell you this but you might get a much better deal on a used RS5, there are tons of them at the dealers, I mean, there is an abundance and it is a heck of car as well. I have owned some cars that double and triple the market used value, I regret selling them and now I can tell you that the RS3 will hold its value very high...trust me on this one. Buy one!

^ Same here. My dealer said they would not budge off MSRP and showed me the door otherwise. They knew I wanted the car bad and I wasn't willing to risk not getting it, especially not knowing the production status of 19'. It is a fantastic car, I'd argue the spec is more important than the price you pay. Someone may always find a better deal but if you want it bad enough then the demand will outweigh the bargain, especially if it's the "right" car. And S3dude is right, given the demand, production numbers, and exclusivity (not to mention the basically bespoke 5cyl engine), these cars will certainly hold their value. He does make a point about the RS5 being a deal because of overproduction and lack of demand, and while I agree, I still think I'd wait a while for those to slide before scooping one up, unless you get some crack head deal on a new one.

There are a couple of things that nobody has mentioned yet.

    1. The 2017 models came preconfigured from what I remember. So they should all be equipped nearly identically.
    2. The 2017 models came with the 1st version of the front brake rotors and there have been several revisions as time has passed.
    3. The 2017 (and early 2018) models came without the brake cooling ducts/diverters that later appeared as a rolling production change (They can fairly easily be added though and cost around $75)
2018 Audi RS3 (Audi Exclusive Color, Black w/ Crescendo Red Stitching, Technology Package, Dynamic Package, Black Optic Package, RS Design Package, RS Carbon Decorative Inlays, Front Plate Delete)
Modifications: (APR Stage 1, Milltek secondary cat bypass pipes, Black Audi Grill Badge)
    2010 Audi A4 Prestige S-Line
Modifications: (APR Stage 2 ECU Flash 93 octane, APR Downpipe, Michelin Pilot Super Sport, S-Line Logo puddle lights)

Where are you located? I'm about to list my 2018 for sale with 15k on it. It's Nardo grey with black optics, dynamic package, tech package and carbon fiber interior and no engine mods. It does have BC Forged wheels as well as the stock wheels and ppf on the front bumper. This car also comes with Audicare.

I'd probably let it go for close to what you're being offered on the one at the dealer if you're interested.

The only issue is you will have is to budget for all the extra fuel used listening to the gorgeous 5cyc. On a serious note, the cars are solid with very few big problems. They are reasonably rare, will hold value well too due to demand.

You could negotiate. Mine was a 63K MSRP and I got it for $55.5K. Everything except the carbon brakes.

Wow, that’s a deal for sure. Where are you guys seeing these deals? Literally the cheapest RS3 on Autotrader at the moment is $54,000 and it’s not loaded.

I was considering listing mine but wasn’t sure what to ask. I have a 2017 Catalunya Red w/13k miles. It’s pretty loaded (pre-configured) minus the lane assist stuff and carbon brakes. Is $52k reasonable? Full front end clear bra and a second set of winters that are almost new included.
