Anyone know of a good mobile pre inspection service in the Irvine area?

Im looking at buying a Q5 with structural damage reported in the carfax from a rear end collision. Seller states it was minor but i want to get it looked at first. So im more looking for a good mobile auto body inspector

See if the dealership has one of those 5 day money back guarantee if you don’t like the car and take it to a shop that’s trustworthy like SSR and get a free inspection.

Not mobile but I would highly recommend Pacific German. They are in the Lake Forest/Irvine area. I had them do a pre purchase inspection for me; dealership allowed me to take the car to them without issue. They’ll put it on the rack, do a full inspection, check for code with factory tool (view codes that have even been cleared), etc. I believe it’s ballpark $150.

Cool, do they do body frame inspection. I just found out the car was in a rear end collision and the carfax says structural damage to the undercarriage....

Cool thanks, im just trying to decide if its better to take it to them or Audi South Coast where the car was serviced to do the PPI. Ever hear anything about the service at Audi South Coast?

Not sure if you’ve had this done but I heard that the Audi in Mission Viejo is much better than the Costa Mesa location. Therefore, I’ll be taking mine to that location for any maintenance or Audicare services. Otherwise, the Riverside location is highly recommended, even with aftermarket parts. They seem reputable.

I heard Mission Viejo is pretty bad. Just recently some dude has issues with his 2015 or so S5 with warranty left on it. Had noise issues and you can clearly hear it via video. Car is stock and Mission Viejo turned him away. I like South Coast Audi in Santa Ana.

Hmmm good to know. I haven’t personally had experience with either but throwing out there what I heard from other owners in the area.. Always good to get a few opinions though.
