    B8.5 S5 headlight bulb

    Hey, I’m looking for a headlight bulb for a 14 s5, I checked online.. but cant seem find the oem color to match the other side. Shoot me a price.

    You should just replace both bulbs at the same time. Even if you get the same bulb, color will still most likely not be the same.

    Not necessarily. One of my bulbs went out and I did some reading on what the stock color temperature was. Posts indicated D3S - Philips HID X-treme Vision +150% 42403XV2C1 matched. Note of course they come in a two pack. I did only replace the one burnt out bulb and it is a match. If it had not I would have done them both (Glad it was a match as pulling the housing was a bit of a PITA)

    Hence "most likely not be the same". These lights do have an x amount of hours to break in before they're at their true color and brightness. At least that was the case for my aftermarket bulbs.

    I went with deautoled headlight bulbs and could not be happier. The bulbs are brighter than stock, with color matched to eyelids. I went through replacing one bulb and the color was off due to the other bulb being older.
