    P2006 and p2007 code

Hello , I hoping someone can help me out. I'm getting two codes.

P2006 witch is turning the mill on.
    P2007 that is intermittent

First I cleared codes and they returned within 20 miles of driving. Their is no rough idle and seems to run fine.

I check all vacuum lines that run from the solenoid to the actuator. Didn't find any leaks.

I looked all around engine bay for any broken vacuum lines and didn't find anything.

I check the solenoid with vacuum and it holds pressure. I then applied power and it released vacuum. All seems well with the solenoid

I then check both actuators and both hold vacuum.

My next guess would be the sensors?
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Mike

You could check your sensor by using a multimeter. Check the Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor electrical terminals 2 to 3 for resistance.

    Specified value are anywhere from 7-25 ohms (@ ~ 20° C)
Then check the Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor electrical terminals 1 to 3 for resistance.

    Specified value are 244 [+/- 40] ohms .

Anything out of that range I’d just replace the sensor

I check the ohms on the sensors.

    Bank 1 is 140
    Bank 2 is 134

I check ohms at the connection terminal

    Bank 1 and 2 are both 189

That is telling me both sensors are bad ?

I’m not saying they’re bad but it’s a start to figure out your issues .
You could also check Intake Manifold Runner Control valve by :

Disconnect the Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve electrical harness connector. (2)

Check the Intake Manifold Runner Control Valve terminals 1 to 2 for resistance.
    Should be 25 [+/-] 10 ohms.

I just checked the connection terminal and I get .OL

On the solenoid I get 22 ohms

I’m kind of leaning to your sensor being faulty or about to fail , specially having both 2006 and 2007 codes (both banks)

Maybe someone else could comment on this

That's what I was thinking too. But I would think I would get another code showing a circuit fault?

At first I thought vacuum line or actuator. All seems to be working like it should. I cleaned the intake runners and put vacuum through the actuators mutiple times and all seems to work . I'm putting it back together. I'll see if I get another code along with it after a bit of driving.

    Thanks for help

So after replacing both actuators , sensors and solinoid I was still getting the p2006 p2007 code. I found the the heater valve was leaking vacuum. It would not operate. Replaced it and 80 miles later so far no more codes.

Hopefully this helps someone else !
