First Post! 2019 S5 B9 Sportback Quantum Grey

Hi all,

Been a longtime reader and browser but first time poster here from all the way in Sydney Australia. I just bought my second Audi ever the B9 S5 Sportback in Quantum Grey. Keen to see what other S5 owners are doing in the states as the aftermarket parts options for this car is still rather thin unfortunately.

The Car Details:
2019 S5 Sportback
Quantum Grey
Black interior with Rock Grey Stitching
Pano Sunroof
Black Package (more like dark grey to be honest
Carbon Inlays
Technik Package
20 inch 5-V spoke Star Wheels

We are lucky in AUS LAND anyways that the S5 comes with a lot in standard so it was pretty much full optioned with the above list! I'm not sure if anyone in the states have these wheels paired with the S5/S4 yet or not, I have only seen a couple here in Aus. I think they look ridiculously good with the car!

Quantum stone guards, a 25mm drop and wheel spacers would hugely transform your vehicle. Love the wheels!

When I bought this car I have never seen these wheels to be honest. I came off an RS3 with the Blade wheels and missed out on the rotors. The rotors always been my favourite stock wheels ever (or the porsche twisties) so I actually asked the dealer to swap the wheels out with a rotor wheel in silver. But when the car arrived I received a sneaky phone photo from the guys at the dealership as they were about to change it and I quickly called and shouted nooooo dont change them! It just looks so good on the car, if I change the centre cap I swear people would think they are aftermarket wheels!

Do you happen to have the specs on these wheels? Maybe a part number or size/offset info? I’d realllllly like to see if I can source these in the US! Although I don’t know if Audi will order EU wheels in the US? Thanks :)

Its the same wheels on the Sq7 and RS6 but im not sure about part number. Its called the 5 V Spoke Star Style Wheels.

The ones on the SQ7 are 22s. Don’t think they’re the same part number.

Wouldnt be the same number but it is the same wheel design but yeh I was not given the aprt number or anything like that was only told the name of the wheels

These wheels are not available in North America, you can get them in Europe. They look great, I think you should keep them.

I actually found the part number, 4K0601025AB, and to my surprise, they are available in North America. I called my local Audi parts center and they said they are available out of the east coast and would take 5 days to get to California. Here is the kicker, they want $1,282 per wheel! Guess I'll just have to get my satisfaction in staring at your car :)

Want to see out there if any of you have had any experience with Maxton Designs UK? They have ridiculous mixed reviews on Google and Facebook.

So the MODDING HAS STARTED :P

I didn't like how the Black Pack in Audi has now become a grey pack really so the S line grille and bodykit with the black pack just doesnt do it anymore for me. I also didnt like how the Black Pack doesnt even get you a black spoiler on the boot, it felt like it was missing a bit of contrast on the quantum grey. So here are the mods that just got installed on the car:

1. RS grille in gloss black
2. Boot lip spoiler wrapped in Gloss black
3. Front lip wrapped in Gloss Black (still not sold on it but will be running it for now)
4. 8 mm Spacer on front & 12 mm Spacer on rear







Loving how the grille makes the car look at the front now and I do like the spoiler in black but wished it was paint to be honest. I think the spacers could have gone a bit wider though for sure! NEXT IS SUSPENSION! :P

Beautiful color which the gloss black only compliments.

I would personally have the small grills in the front bumper removed and painted. (will be my next mod as well)

Actually got the car lowered now. I think it still needs a lip and maybe wider spacers. Still has awkwardness to this atm.

IMO it would look a lot better without the wrap on the front lip.

Beautiful car and great pictures. The front grill really does make a big difference to your front end. Looks like it belongs.
