Phone holder info -- B8.5 Q5/SQ5, seems to be a good solution

Hey, I've been using ProClips (dot com) for all my cars. Love their mounts.

I was bummed to see that the mount that worked for our 2010 Q5 didn't fit our new 2016 SQ5 according to their site.

Their other option wasn't great (pillar mount) so I thought I'd take a chance with the 2010-2014 mount.

Good news is that it works with some slight fiddling. You need to mount it a bit higher, and file a bevel on the bottom end of the adhesive piece to clear the hill descent button. But, works great. Super convenient and they have an awesome selection of custom phone holders. The downside is I swap phones all the time which ends up requiring me to send a lot of $$ their way for the custom fit.

Another good option is the CupFone from WeatherTech

Been using the Spigen CD slot one for a few years now. Works better in my Q5 than my old A4 with the Concert radio due to the fact that all the MMI controls are on the shifter vs. below where the CD slot is. I like the simplicity and how sturdy it is, also fits all types of phones on the fly.

I use this Vava magnetic mount. I mounted where the screen is, for me it’s a good height, helps when viewing navigation.

I got the MagicMount magnetic wireless charging one and stuck it on the blank spot right next to the cover for the SIM cards. Fits great and work perfect.

Edit: added a pic, I still need to clean up wires a little bit.
