What's everyone doing for rear seat sun protection?

Came from a c5 allroad and the kiddo's window had a shade built into the door card. Is there a similar option for the c6? Saw something from sonniboy but it's way more than I want to spend (169 euro plus 50 euro shipping (that's OEM territory)).

Great Question. Is there an OEM rear sun shade for the C6?

I haven't seen any sun shades for the C6 yet. Personally, tinting the windows with quality film makes the most impact although I know not all are enthusiastic about tint.

There are models in C6 chassis that had sun shade roller blind sliding from rear door cards. They hook up on to the window frame.
I'm after a salvaged set in alcantara but either available as a whole set of interior, with seats or a single door card.
    Attached picture for your reference.

What I did recently as a trial is, got cheap "fly eye film" for headlamp and tail lamps tinting and cut out a piece of the rear window size. Tried to manage it and stretch it like proper window tint but failed in few spots.
Eventually I ended up with not bad looking piece of "perforated window tint".

If not the fact it started to roll off with every window operation, I would've left it there and tried again on the other side but couldn't be asked now.
You need to really tuck that film in the door card so it doesn't catch the edge of it.
Also, you need to be careful not to damage any existing window tint, if you have any and I do.

Have more mods started and some more to sort out in the upcoming time but I will get back to it.
These door cards I chase for about two years now and cannot get any.
    Even from salvaged vehicle.
Alcantara is hard to come by.

There's also the Sonniboy shades that pop into the window frame area.

My old 2005 had OEM rear power shade and manual side shades. While it may be possible to retrofit cars that did not come with the option, it will probably be cost prohibitive.

Doing some research I found that Audi made some sunshades similar to the sonniboy variety. Of course in their commitment to excellent customer service ($) you could only buy them in 2 separate packages 1) the rear doors 2) hatch glass and quarter windows.

Package 2 is readily available on Amazon for 65 and change. The rear doors are providing to be troublesome to find. Will update when I get my hands on a complete set. I thought about going aftermarket on this but I kind of like the idea of going OEM on this car

box 2 never showed up and Amazon ended up canceling the order. They brought the item back, listed under a different amazon number (and changed the part number from from 4f9064363 to 4F9-064-363). They also kindly quadrupled the price. Ended up searching forever to get the back seat sunshades and finally found them on audiusaparts and ordered on their leap year sale for 20% off. Ended up being way more than the $40 Amazon originally wanted but still $50 less than anyone else at the time.

Fitment isn't perfect as there's a few small gaps around the shade, but infinitely better than the ones that stick to the window and infidelity+1 better than the pantyhose like ones that slip over the door. Kid loves it because I can roll down her window and the shade still stays up. She yells from the carseat "Windy!" "Fast, Fast, Fast!" If that isn't a testament of approval, I don't know what is!
