    B8.5 Interior Trim Question

I have a 2016 Allroad with the interior trim I now know Audi calls "Aluminum Trigon," which I think is referred to here as "fish scale." I like the aluminum look, especially against the black leather, but prefer a brushed aluminum finish. I'm looking for the real deal, not a wrapped solution, and I could swear I've seen brushed aluminum trim pieces pictured on these cars.

Looking at just the left door trim as an example, GAP lists a trim called "Silver Flex," (part # 8K08674094T4), which is "modestly" priced, and one called "Aluminum," (part # 8K0867409LAR8), which is more expensive.

Is "Silver Flex" the fish scale/Trigon, and "Aluminum" the brushed finish? Or is the "Aluminum" actually the fish scale/Trigon, and "Silver Flex" something else? I'd rather not order the piece just to find out. As my mother would say, "that's a tad spendy."

    Thanks for the help.

Page 46 of the PDF (labeled page 44 within the document image). Aluminum Trigon is the standard trim on the A4; it looks like you want the Brushed Aluminum, the standard trim on the S4.

You can get an ideal of the trim names from the ETKA catalog. No idea what silver flex metallic is, looks like it replaced "steel gray". Guessing that's not something we got in the US.

Thank you for the A4 brochure. The 2016 Allroad brochure was my constant companion while I was searching for my car (and why I dismissed more than one Audi dealer who tried to tell me it was a 2016 Allroad Prestige, or that the interior was "Platinum Gray" leather. Know your own shit.), but this is the first time I've seen the A4/S4 brochure. It explains a lot. The part number GAP lists for "aluminum" door trim (8K0867409LAR8) is the same from the S4 and Allroad. That's good. The brochure also shows a trim called "Layered Aluminum/Black Wood," which sounds like it would look excellent, but I'd like to see it on a car first.

Both GAP and ETKA catalog seem to list many interior trim options that are seemingly not available in the US. According to the brochure, your US interior choices are for the A4/S4 Aluminum Trigon, Dark Brown Walnut Wood, Fine Grain Ash Natural Brown Wood, Piano Black, Brushed Aluminum (S4), Carbon Atlas (S4), and Layered Aluminum/Black Wood (S4). GAP also lists part numbers for aluminum/anthracite, polished silver, stainless steel, birch gray, and steel gray.

This was very helpful. Thank you.

I need to slip over to the S4 Forum and see if anyone has a picture of the Layered Aluminum/Black Wood trim.

I have the fishscale in mine also, I'm looking for the carbon atlas I think they call it... Found it in pieces, expensive as sh*t!

The black wood/aluminum trim is called "beaufort aluminum" I think, and it's absolutely gorgeous. There are a few guys on here that have it. I'm so jelly

I've actually seen a couple sets in the classifieds, but they go for like $800+

Thanks for the pics of Beaufort trim. You’re right; it’s gorgeous.

I’d also intrigued by the one listed as “aluminum and anthracite.”

So many options not available to us here.
