1.8T live data reading? (ex. Air/Fuel ratio, Oil pressure, Boost...)

Looking for a fairly priced OBD2 hardware for reading things like Air/Fuel ratio, oil pressure, coolant temperature, booost pressure, other data/stats/logs on 1.8t.

I know about VCDS VAG-COM, but I dont want to pay the $400, I dont want to dig as deep (yet).., actually, would the free version do the job with the cheaper OBD2 cable from Ebay/Amazon? Otherwise, I've seen a bluetooth device for £15, ELM 327 Torque Pro, is that any good?
OBD eleven? (bit pricey for £80, and heard too many horror stories of it).

Bear in mind, I am based in UK, so BlueDriver by Lemur won't work.

    Any suggestions?

Mate I just use this cheap ebay scanner with Car Scanner app from the Google Play Store which does the job fine let's you monitor whatever you want and can even make custom dashboards for live info._20190419_173422.jpg_20190419_173549.jpg

    Thanks dude.
What release of Audi A4 you got, which engine? I boughed the exact same device and it does not connect to my ECU. I did everything, the phone did connect to the device via bluetooth, but thats it, car icon just flashin', doesnt find the compatible protocol.

I had a cheap Chinese ELM327 adapter (2 actually) and neither worked with my wife's car, but both worked with mine. The second adapter worked better, but still had occasional issues. I decided to spend more (~$50-60 v $10) and get a genuine ELM327 adapter. It is much better than both of the knockoffs I had before, and communicates faster as well.

There is an app in the Google Play Store that can verify what protocols work with the adapter you have. The one bad adapter only supported like 30% of all the protocols it should have based on the description, but the genuine supported everything. I'm assuming that there's also an app for iOS as well.

I have an 2002 A4 1.8T Quattro engine code BFB, I had the same problem with the torque app as it will not connect to the ecu so I tried the car scanner app and it works really well and I can get all of the live data and log with it aswell as read and clear codes.

I just boughed a better adapter from amazon, OBDATOR £18.99, works like a charm.
    Automatic power off too.
