    2014 Allroad lowering help

I'm a bit confused and no longer know what to believe...

I want to lower my 2014 Allroad, say 1.75-2" as in stock form, it is really high. I'd be willing to try the Allroad specific H&R springs on the stock struts, but I've been told by a shop rep that it will be bouncy. Is it true that the Allroad is a mix of A4 and A5 geometry? Does it have beefier struts that would cause this?

Does anyone here run the H&R specific Allroad springs with the stock struts? Results?
Or do I need to go Coilovers, which I can pretty much assure you will stay at the same height all their life... and if so, are the H&R coilovers a good choice? My budget is not huge.

    Thanks so much!
So happy to be back in an Audi after my X5! LOL

I am currently running AST spring with stock struts. You'll be fine for some time, but they will wear out faster. Save up for aftermarket struts for lowered cars.

I have a 2013 and had H&R springs with stock struts and it was fine. I am now on ST Coilovers and still rides good but sits lower. I think the only way I could have stayed with the springs is if I went with bigger wheels - 20". I run 18" during winter and 19" during the summer on my STs and I think it looks great.

    Coils all day bud.

You can fine tune your ride height and you'll want to have that ability, as your taste and wheel choices change. 20190427_165947~2.jpeg

It's been a year, but it's finally done. I went with the FK HAS kit.

It's still settling as it's only been a week, but I've attached some photos. I know that the front will need to be lowered a tad.

How is it that people are lowering their Allroads lower than mine without scrapping tires... I'm rubbing in the back and melting down the flairs, lol
My fear is not the plastic, but the metal lip under it. I prefer to run flush, but I'm will in to come in 5mm on my rears, to a 10mm spacer.
The fronts don't have any spacer yet as I'm waiting on my alignment.

    Thanks for any input :)
