    Need complete set.

Where’s the best place to get them installed other than a dealership.

    Btw they wanted like $2200.

    Thanks in advance!

Talk to my very close friend, Craig. He owns Master Mechanic in Newmarket.

He does all the work I simply don’t want to do or don’t have time to do on my non race car Audi. He’s also holding onto my 20V Turbo Coupe Quattro at the moment.

    Tell him Lucy sent you.

You didn't mention which car you have. If it is for a3 then $2200 is insane but if it is for a RS then it is very reasonable

Go to germanparts.ca or germanoem.ca buy the parts and get a local shop to do the install.

When i had to replace the brakes on my Tiguan, the dealer wanted 1600$ or 1700$, I was like fuck that!

Purchased everything from germanparts 450$, 180$ for installation. I got better products than the dealer was offering. (Zimmerman, TRW)

I have a 2013 Audi S4 too, so this is the route I will be taking again.

Thanks, I'll probably be ordering something soon too. Dealer wanted $1900 in Toronto, for just the front brakes!!

the trick is getting good rotors,, see if you can get even the parts from the dealer and install yourself. Nothing looks worse than a crappy rusted out aftermarket rotor. I put Porsche rotors on my car after learning the lessons of " quality aftermarket" ones that looked like crap after 6 months . For my Audi i dont sweat it to much but keep this in mind.

I bought the 14" zimmerman rotors and TRW pads as well, came out to $381 after tax which I'm pretty pleased about. I haven't installed them yet but I might do it myself as I have all the tools for it.

Certainly way better than doing it at an Audi dealership...

I think I paid 700 for brakes all around from Tdotperformance and Rockauto

That's with EBC dimpled and slotted A6 fronts (356mm rotor) and ceramic scorched pads

S5 Pagid 330mm rears with same scorched ceramic pads.

Whole package would have been significantly cheaper if I just went stock fronts by Zimmerman, non drilled

I've never used RockAuto before, do you pay duties upfront? Is it really cheaper even with the conversion rate?

yeah ive used them lots too , you can even display prices in CAD on their website, you just choose your parts , then it adds shipping , it adds your HST and done .. it shows up a couple of days later. I find not many OE parts , but if you want something aftermarket they usualy have lots to choose from.

So this is where i urge caution and research .. you might have ATE rotors on your Audi for example. so you order ATE rotors from your favorite vendor. Does not mean they are the same spec. ATE is original equipment manufacturer but they may not be made to the same exact specification Audi demands to get the 4 rings stamp. Just do your homework.

    Thanks for the info guys!
Going to change my front pad and rotor later this year. Tdot's website seems not working for me atm... extremely slow page loading.
Germanparts.ca seems to have lots of sale going on right now. Great deal.

So, just an update here but the brake pads I ordered from germanparts.ca did not fit. The prongs on the backing were on the completely opposite side as compared to my original OEM pads which meant that the caliper could not close properly.

I ended up ordering Akebono EUR1549 ceramic brake pads from RockAuto, fast shipping and it came in < 2 days and most importantly they FIT . Their pricing was pretty good too. They ship from Ohio which is not that far from Ontario where I live.
