Do I have a Body Control Module issue or Comfort Control Module issue?

I would not come here and ask this question how do I not known the answer myself.

Frustrating part about my issue is that after I thought I had a particular problem and I was looking up online how to replace that parts I'm getting strikingly different results.

A YouTube search and my country in Canada shows a mixup between the body control module and the Comfort control module. I saw a video here https://youtu.be/Ur9Net2xgiU

The guy in the description clearly calls this a body control module slash Comfort control module. So apparently they are the same according to him. However, the part that he has and has hand and in the car looks nothing like what I find for a body control module on eBay. Furthermore, the parts that I got that you will find on eBay when you type body control module is the same part I was able to source here and my city throw mechanic. Sorry not a mechanic but junkyard guy. One I gave the junkyard guy the part number for the body control module, he asked me if that's the part that's under the seat and I told him I think so however I'm not sure I just know the part number for the part that I need. He comes back to me and tells me you found the part and he kept that aside for me and he eventually sold it to me.

I posted pictures of the parts that I have.

The worst part is, one I look up Comfort control module on YouTube I get this video with shows a part that is under the steering wheel.https://youtu.be/4uljuO9FuOk

Now, the problem I am having has to do with electrical the controls the lights, the hazard lights, the windshield wipers, and the fog lights and light switch that's on the side. As well as the lights that are feeding the instrument cluster which gives you your speed reading and RPM.

I need to have a clear answer whether this issue is a body control module, or a comfort control module. There seems to be a huge issue with this car and this model when you try and search this issue. The entire internet is riddled with so much miss information that it's almost a reason not to buy this car because of how ridiculous it is for people not to know what the parts are in what they're called. I really don't know why it's very difficult to know what this is. All I know is that trying to connect a reader to the car to get a code error is not even something that I can do because I'm having a electrical issue so which module is it?

And how do I replace it?

The second question is this kick trim panel piece that the audi has. When I was removing the carpets of the floor of the car to try and figure out if I can access this box underneath the driver seat, this piece that some point came off and I don't know where to put it back. https://parts.audiusa.com/p/Audi__/B...8E0867191.htmlIMG_20190329_185558.jpeg

Comfort module is located in the floor of the vehicle. The picture you provided is the central electrics module also know as J519. Its up in the dash near the light switch.

    BCM is for lights, etc.
It is up in the dash under the gauge cluster/knee bolster.

CCM is for door locks and other comfort control stuff.
    It is under the footwell.

I believe that earlier models combine these blocks in a single CECM..Central Electronics control module

I thought I was told just below that what I have is a bcm in hand based on what you're telling me too no?

The part I have, upon searching on Google shows as a bcm. Is that responsible for my lights and all the other issues I had?
