Tire size reccomendation for 19x10 wheel on stock ride height B8 S5

Hey guys,

just purchased a 19"x10" et 35 Rotiform KPS wheel for my 2010 S5 and I'm looking for a tire size recommendation for a stock ride height car.

I got a set of Conti 235/40/19/96V for cheap for now to get off my winters but will buy a new set if there's a more suitable fit available

What do you recommend in terms of tire size for this setup?

235 will be stretched on a 10" wheel, 255-285 is the generally recommended tire width for a 10" wheel. It "can" fit but wouldn't be my personal choice, I would be running that tire size you have on a 8" wheel.

235 vs 275 on 19x10

235 is way too narrow for a 10

This or 265. I personally have 265 Falken Azenis FK510. The tire is fantastic handles great and does well in wet as well. No extra noise on the tires, plus they are super reasonable. I have them on stock 19” peelers and it is perfect on stock height.

But his rims are an inch wider than the peelers and rotors so a 275 may fit better unless you are looking for a stretch look. Michelin super sports 255/35/19 on my AG 19x9.5 have a stretch sidewall. I just got 275/35s but have not put them on yet.

When you are referring to the wheel size, what does "et" mean? Thank you

Oh shoot did not see that, thanks! I was so focused on the stock height. True 275s would fit best with 10”. I also had to go down on my front spacers due to rubbing.
