    Which Roof Rack do you use - OEM vs Thule vs Yakima

    In the market for a roof rack system on my ‘16 A6 - Which one do you have and why? Easy install and removal?

    I will also need a cargo carrier - looking to fit kid stuff for road trips and/or vacations. How much stuff can you fit in yours?

    Thule makes the best rack and they're made in America. Lucky for you it's easy to install on an a6, one person can do it if you're careful.

    I just got my 2018 S6 last month. I traded in my 2013 S4 on it and I was using the OEM Audi/Zubehor bars with a Thule Force Alpine cargo box. Super solid setup!!! I also use the box on my Yukon Denali (just got back from a week out at Copper Mountain, CO with my family and had our gear in the box). I'm not sure if I'm going to purchase roof bars for the new car as I find myself typically using my truck for snowboard/ski trips. When I bought the bars for my S4, ECS had a great sale on them so I picked them up.
    2018 S6 Prestige, Glacier White/Black, S-Sport, Driver Assistance, Black optic, Carbon inlays, Cold weather, Vorsteiner VFF 103's in carbon graphite.

    Awesome info - appreciate it! We are planning to use the box for ski gear, as well as other stuff. I’m not the biggest fan of the safari racks on a sedan lol

    Did you install it yourself? It's such a terrible design. lol, I'm honestly considering selling mine and going for a suction cup system for next year because the A7/S7/RS7 mounting points are annoying.

    I had the same debate a few years ago, and one of the members pointed me to inno racks. I have had them on my A6 for about 4 years, solid and looks really cool with my black car
