Fuel filter location on S6

Hi

I am replacing my High pressure fuel pumps on my 08' S6. I figured it was a good idea to replace the fuel filters in addition to the pumps in case there is any clogging in the filter.
Does anybody happen to know where the fuel filter is?

Not sure if it’s the same as the A6 but mine is right above the belly pan. I would take your pan off and check. Only takes a minute.

It's in front of the passenger size rear wheel underneath the rear of the passenger rear door. Just take that plastic undertray off and you'll see it, forewarning some of the clips on hoses that connect to it are a complete pain in the rear and very brittle. You do NOT want to break those because the lines are even more difficult to replace.

Make sure you get the right filter. The S6 has FPR built into the filter.
