Windshield Wiper Blades : No, Tiguan blades dont fit!!

I tried Gen-1 Tiguan replacement wiper blades, front and rear, for my 2015 Q3....they don't fit...even though some of the replacement fitment guides say they are the same part number. The Tiguan has a 19mm "push button" mount, the Q3 is 15mm. Why would VW/Audi bother to have 2 different types of blades for this similar vehicle platform???

Either buy blades from Audi (front pair pn 8U1998002 $50 list price), or buy Valeo 24TB and 21TB, for about $15 each. These Valeo's are identical to the Audi part.
I have not yet found a cheaper replacement for the rear blade (pn 8K9955425 list price $23.8).....even that mount is slightly different from the Tiguan rear blade.

Have you checked any Service and Parts Specials at your dealership?

I just bought wiper blades from the dealership a bit ago, but had a $40 coupon based on how much I spent with them last year (no idea). So $10 for wiper blades wasn't bad. Also got another email with a 15% discount for wiper blades, which I may use for the wagon.
