Show me your BC Forged Wheels for the RS3

    Hey all,

I don't post often but I need a little assistance and I hope the group here can help me out.

I am very close to making a decision on a new set of wheels for my Glacier white RS3 but I would like to see some pictures and get some impressions from fellow RS3 owners.

I am currently looking at a set of BC Forged modular wheels in a 19x9 square and rotatable configuration. Where I seem to be hung up is in the offset. I am looking at an offset of somewhere between +40 to +45 but I can't seem to make a final decision. BC Forged does have a set of EH182's (monoblock) in a 19x9 +45 offset for the RS3 on their website so I do have those as a reference. Anyone have a similar modular (multipiece) setup?

If you have something close, please post some pics and share your thoughts.

    Thanks!

I think +45 will give you the best flexibility when it comes to tires not rubbing on a truly square set, unless you're deadset on getting that #hellanotfunctional look.

What size of tire is that? Do you have a picture that is actually completely square to the side of the car?

    Thanks guys!

Both sets of wheels look amazing!

I am leaning towards a 245/35-19 set of Michelin PS4S's for my eventual setup. I want a little more sidewall than I currently have with the 255/30 fronts.

That's the exact ones I plan on getting for future. For now I may cheap out and just keep my OEM perellis as they haven't seen much use since I picked my car up haha

There is a guy Jason (jsmr2 I believe on Instagram) he has the same set but his are two piece (more $$). His car was the reason I went with these. I loved the fitment and depth the design brought to the body style. I think his are satin or matte though, I went with gloss to match the cars black package.

Also, James from wheel lab helped both of us out with sizing and fitment and getting the custom order done!

Sweet! Maybe I will get to see them in person at some point.

    Are they 18x9 +45?

Nice set of winters! If you have those for winter wheels, what are you doing for summer wheels?

You must have a great wife. My wife is a car person... but she isn't willing to make car related purchases for me. Haha

Wow, these look great! What made you decide on the +45 offset vs something slightly more aggressive like a +42?

Just for my own reference, what tire size are you using?

I wanted the same fitment as the red car on BC's website. I didn't want any problems. No chance of rubbing etc. The car is lowered most of the way on KW HAS and my eventually drop it all the way. To me this is aggressive enough with the amount of tire that shows at the bottom of the fenders. Tires are 255/30/19 all around.

This is great feedback! I am currently thinking of going with a 245/35/19 for a little more sidewall. This car is supposed to be a daily driver (I admit- it isn't right now) and I want a nice setup without a lot of hassle. BBS seems to think that a 19x9 +42 is a good setup for the RS3 (based off some of their fitment options) and that is one of the main reasons I have been considering something just a touch more aggressive.

Most of the responses so far have been a +45 offset. It seems to be the popular offset.

I’ve two sets of BC’s on my car both 9.5 and +42 front +45 rear, this is the perfect spec to run with Michelin PS4S 255’s all around

I've been pretty happy with them, so I might just stay square and throw on pss4's. The stock wheels are fine but the tires are done.

Wow, I am so glad I started this thread. So many great sets of wheels! Do you have more pics of the top set? Especially the fronts since as of now I am still mostly focused on a square setup?

Hum, 9.5's may be too wide for me if I want a 245/35 tire...

Not sure why you would want 9.5 with 245 tires. That would look stretched. You should be able to fit 255 with no issue or with slight rear flap mod.

I wonder if we are starting to see a trend here for the front's? 9.5's at a +42/43 and 9's at a +45 offset?

    Thanks!

I probably wouldn't go 245 with a 9.5 wheel- That's one of the reasons I had been leaning towards a 9 for my setup as I would like to have the option to have a little more sidewall.

Unless I am reading this wrong, you will have same sidewall regardless of tire width you are going with to make sure your overall diameter is the same. Only way to go for more sidewalk is to go with 18.

I'm sorry, maybe you are misunderstanding me or I am misunderstanding you. It doesn't really matter. I mentioned earlier in the thread that I am looking at using a 245/35/19. If I went this route overall diameter would be slightly off. So maybe we are on the same page?

I’m getting close to putting mine on. Same 265/30/19 ps4 and off sets 42 front 45 rear. I’ve been told mine shouldn’t rub. I’m on Ed springs.

    Here’s a set up I did for @kalani. It’s pretty aggressive for the Rs3 :

    BC Forged HCA162

    19x9.5 +35 front
    19x9.5 +40 rear

    -matte gunmetal center/face
    -polished lip
    -brushed clear barrel
    -exposed stainless steel hardware
    -machined for ball seat bolts

    Michelin PS4S 245/35
    Lowered on H&R coils

You added a little negative camber to the rear iirc?

Yes but not much. Only rubs on the inner liner and not the fender

    Thanks!
19x9 +45 sits just inboard of fender

    19x9 +42 is a soft flush

    19x9 +40 is a hard flush

Anything lower than 9 +40 will start poking especially in the rear

Below is 19x9 +40 driver side rear looking forward. Most of the poke is tire but you can see any lower offset and you’ll get significant poke
