    Oil Inside Turbo!?!?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
hey guys, i just put on my CTS turbo inlet pipe last night (which i love by the way) and i came across a little bit of oil inside of it. is this normal? Or is this cause for concern? it wasnt flooded with oil and the inside was not at all gunked up. just want to make sure this is normal and if it isnt then the saving for a DBV2 TBB turbo begins.

Its the factory Oil fumes recirc system....black tube connected to turbo intake pipe. Normal

Its also a reason the engine consumes oil.

Slightly off topic. How hard is it to pull the PCV hose off to install the turbo inlet elbow?

I found it VERY easy to take off and put on. I took out the bolt first then off with the hose. Took me about 10-15 minutes. Also, I just changed the plugs today! All the plugs were tight except #4 that plug seemed very loose. Hope that helps ya out

Thanks for the link. Looks like just a small screwdriver is needed. I’m guessing once the airtight seal is broken, like a Snapple bottle it just pops right off...
