    Bluetooth Music Skipping

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I am asking if anyone is having the same issue that I am having. When I play any songs on my Spotify through my iPhone on bluetooth, the music skips like an old CD with a scratch on it. I do not have any issues with the satelite radio or bluetooth phone calls. Any ideas what could be happening?

    Thanks!

Are you positive the audio isn’t buffering? Have you tried a different music app?

I have the same problem using my iTunes library (not internet streaming). I have a feeling it’s the Bluetooth on my phone though, as sometimes it does the same thing with Bluetooth headphones.

Yeah I have the issue with Bluetooth headphones. Apple has been having some issues with their radios.

Thanks, so call Apple? Or bring in my phone?

Have you tried restoring the iOS on your phone first?

I have not. I didn't even think that it could be an Apple issue, but will make an appointment with Apple. Hoping that clears it all up. Having fuzziness when talking on phone through speakers also, so maybe that is apart of it?

Hey, just figured if you having this issue with Bluetooth devices then it leads me to believe the source of the problem is the phone. I tend to blow away my iOS when issues pop up and most of the times it resolves the issue.
I guess a quick win could be to simply power cycle the phone. If still an issue then sure have the kind Genious’s have a look at it.

Quick question about the skipping, is it all music and what format of the sound file you streaming?

You can also reset your network settings only which blows out your Bluetooth I believe. It helped me resolve a few issues I was having.

Mine happens randomly both with the car and headphones. And yes, mine skips with iTunes library, pandora, and Spotify. My iTunes library is all .aac and .mp3 files.
