What's your thoughts on VMR Wheels?

I see people running them, but I don't read a lot of reviews in here. I was think about going with the either the V710FF or the V708 :

I'm kind leaning towards the V710FF in gunmetal. Anyone got any pictures of them on a silver s4? Thoughts about VMR?

Yes, it was pre flow formed.

They're your typical cast wheels. Plenty of Bimmer guys have them as well.

Get the flow formed ones. The weight is removed from the barrel, which is the most important part for weight reduction.

804’s are the lightest wheels VMR makes.

had a set on my mk5 R32. I ordered through VMR and they had a couple delays, but sent a bunch of VMR branded stuff as good faith. overall I was happy with the wheels and their quality.

I have been overall happy with my VMR. Got them through Discount tire when I got new tires. We used to have a VMR rep on this forum who actually helped with it as VMR was not on their normal list.

VMR was the go to cast wheel for euro guys until the larger companies like Avant Garde, Rotiform, and Vossen started offering competitively inexpensive cast wheels. They They are not the most stout wheels and the price reflects that. I've neverheard of anybody totally blowing them out but they are prone to bends if you run a fairly minimal tire. If you intend to run the stock 255/35/19 or equivalent on a 9-5 or 9.5 you will be fine.

I've had 3 sets of VMR 710 wheels.

19" gunmetal for summers and 18" silver for winters on my B7 S4 DTM.

I currently have 19" silver on my B8 S4.

My only complaint is they're a PITA to clean.

It's a pain to clean? I figured the color would hide dust better... or is it just the lack of a clear coat? Or are we just referring to the style of the wheel makes it harder to clean.

I’m a fan. Got the non FF gun metals and yes they’re a bit of a pain to clean like others said but I like them. Also got the 9.5 width with 265s so a bit better fit in the arch in my opinion Good price too

Yep. I’ve got my winters on now which are the stock peelers and the offset has them looking sunk into arches a bit at least by comparison to the Vmrs. Would do spacers if I had them on all the time

I have a set of the 710s, kind of wish I went with the 708s to be honest.

I like them and they are cheap enough to run without worrying too much about hitting a pothole and having to take a second mortgage out on my house to replace one.

Main reason I bought them is my stock Avus wheels were pretty beat up and didn't roll true.IMG_20180815_173839734.jpeg

Ah ok... kind of like the stock peelers. I find using a auto detailers brush works wonders to get all the tight corners when washing.

I'll say. The VMR's look great against the gorgeous blue paint color! I hate to digress...but what's rear diffuser you have equipped? It's quite nice looking with the stock exhausts as well.
