I bet taking it apart to grease is a PITA.
Thankfully, Hotchkis bars come with grease fittings. I already broke the front ones off; I think someone said to run them with plugs and screw the grease fitting in only when servicing.

OG greases them every oil change, but I haven't greased them in numerous OCI's so far and I hear no squeaks.

What is the best way to grease them?
NAPA has a 14oz grease gun "on sale" dropped from like $50 to $20
but the same-looking grease gun is $17 on Amazon, so that doesn't seem like much of a "sale".

Problem is, the Hotchkis 3101 grease is like $34 for 14oz. Every other grease is much cheaper.
I don't know how good theirs is. It claims to be adhesive, but is still probably silicone-based, just like certain other greases (SuperLube, etc.)

Also, there is such thing as a 3oz "mini" grease gun. Even cheaper.
I just don't know how long that would last. And if a 3oz tube slaps right in, or if it has a canister that needs the grease scooped into it manually by hand.
The 14oz probably accepts cartridges.

I don't know if quality matters, or if a grease gun is simply a grease gun. For example, there appears to be different kinds. Lever vs. pump, solid nozzle vs. flexible hose
The "mini" with a flexible hose seems like it would be easier to handle, when working within the confines of a car on jack-stands.

_______________

TL;DR: It seems like a "mini" 3oz grease gun would be much cheaper, around $20 total including grease. But 14oz would be like $60, and last the lifetime of the vehicle.
Am wondering what's best.
