I first heard of this last summer when I was looking at TTRS'. I started doing some research on my own and found out about all the new Euro 6 emission standards, the delays it was having across the whole VAG lineup, the existing TTRS delays, and exhaust scrubbers. After that, I went back to the dealer with more info and asked if I was out of line expecting at least 12-16 month wait from July at that point if I wanted a '19 with exclusive color. I was told that would be their estimate as well. From that point, I had the dealer find all the fully loaded '18 TTRS models in the US. There were 2 left, both in Nardo, 1 in LA area and the other at Audi Boise. I contacted Audi Boise since it is closer to me and put down a deposit and about 10 days later I bought the last fully loaded 2018 TTRS in the US since the other had already sold by that time.
I had every intention of getting a loaded '19 in Suzuka Grey, but I didn't want to wait 18 months for it.

Ive had two TTS's and never have I had any maintenance or codes for anything in the car ...... Truth be told, I rarely turn on the magride.....
For those that think the carbon brakes are the way to go and also somehow you think that the cost of maintenance of them is ok but magride isnt?? Need to wake up a bit and look at what a set of rotors cost for the car... ( I have a buddy who has owned two huracan's and had to replace a set of rotors on both... never tracks the car)..... 10,000 for a shot....
Ive never looked up what replacing one or two magride struts cost, but ill bet you can buy a few full replacement sets for 10,000.
I have had my TTRS for almost a year now, the fixed sports suspension suits me just fine. It is not bad at all, I have 2 sets of wheels and 3 sets of tires. I have seen that the tire has more to do with how jarring the ride is. The stock P Zeros are rough, Sottozero 3s are rougher and the best which I just put back on a few days ago are the A/S 3+. As for the CCB, mine have squealed twice for about a second each, both times when it snowing, to expected with the cold. I am at just over 5000 miles and I see no wear in the pads or the rotors. They still look brand new.
