Who ordered the 2019 TTRS? Lets see specs!!!

Hey Gang!

Just thought it would be fun to post up your spec and location (maybe price too) and keep a thread going about it all as we progress from spec to delivery and even mod!

Here is mine:

Got my order here in Toronto back in November ....

Was at Audi event lastnight talking to some in the know and the Price here in Canada is 73,600 CAD before options and taxes/fees (Audi Canada has still not officially released the number yet)
Also mentioned that cars should be here April or May in Canada... Id assume US would get theirs first.... but seems like it may happen in tandem.

Technically dealer allocations do not come until March so my current status is dealer preorder pending allocation.

Has anyone else considered the spoiler delete option? I like the clean looks of it... but the new spoiler for 2019 does look pretty good. I'm torn because I like the clean looks of the retractable spoilers (have had 3 Caymans before this which have a great retractable spoiler) but don't want to get hurt on value in 3-4 years when I trade/sell. It looks like this spoiler is one of the key differentiating parts of the RS model.

Also does anyone know if adding the red/blue stitching automatically adds the red/blue center console and seat trim? I'm torn on that option but feel like the seats and center console are a bit much.

Why not? They are things of beauty. Haven you seen them up close? Pricey, but beautiful. People pay 1500-2000+ for carbon fibre mirror caps from Audi ..... I see this as the same.

To be fair, you don't see most of the car when you're driving, and the interior is pretty much unchanged, so swapping out for a facelifted RS is probably a waste of money too. But having nice things is sweet.

I went for the OLED's too, so now when I park I'll have the option of facing away from the door of the building I'm going into, so that when I leave and approach my car I can hit the unlock button on the keys and get weak in the knees as the OLED's, in Audi's words, "distribute their extensive light with extreme homogeneity and precision."

Turns out... I had to cancel the OLED's.... In Canada,,,, we have to get the RS performance pack to be able to select them... There is no way id buy a TTRS with fixed suspension and have to pay extra for it!

Incidentally, a rear spoiler is now an option on the base TT (TT RS spoiler, according to the configurator) and TTS.

Can also get the R8 steering wheel on the TTS (not sure about base TT).

R8 or TTRS? The R8 has two more buttons (Drive select and Exhaust Mode)... TTRS only has Start/Stop & Drive Select

The R8 V10 and RWS have the same steering wheel as the TT-RS. Paddles may be a bit smaller, but only two satellite buttons.
The R8 V10+ has the two aditional satellite buttons.

As of Friday my detail sheet is showing vehicle status “factory” with an eta of 6/7-6/27. So the orders are being accepted but it will be a while until vins are assigned. Hoping they beat the estimates.

I assume we will see the car in the flesh at Geneva.

I paid MSRP 77,640.00. Have a signed order and they have taken my Macan Turbo in on trade already so I’m pretty confident the price is locked at this point. Dallas area dealer so I think MSRP was as good as I could get.

$2k off MSRP, Southern California. Agreement reached late December, before the order guide was available.

A nice offset toward the ACNA 6% discount available on an ordered TTS. Or, depending on your perspective, offsets the 2019 price increase.

RE: TeddyB, VINs are what I was referring more to. I have a factory submitted order but only paid a deposit, guess everybody's situation is different though. I suppose a deposit could just be the full MSRP if somebody wanted to, mine was just $2,500.

Contacted dealer on 1/7/2019 presenting my interest to place a factory order as soon as possible. Agreed on the terms and pricing on 2/8/2019. On 2/9/2019 signed an order and paid a $2,500 deposit for 3% off MSRP. Also, any rebates/loyalty at time of delivery will be applied for a cash purchase without financing - so all of this is similar to what others have mentioned. Order was placed and factory submitted on 2/11/2019.

In my opinion, this is a very fair deal for a factory order placed before the car goes into production, hope this info helps others.

Spoke to a different dealer today that passed along some not so great news if it's true. Apparently there's some sort of a hold up with the engines in production so everything is delayed at the moment. Was told probably August delivery now. Again, not sure what's true and what's not at this point.

Hopefully it's not true, though I could see the recent strike at the Gyor plant having an affect on some production schedules. US buyers had some bad luck early last year as well when RS3's, TTRS's, and R8's were being held at port for a not entirely clear reason (sounded emissions/EPA related). Your March timeline sounds almost too good to be true - the car would have to already be built and loading onto a ship by now if the averages of other people's orders are anything to go by, but for your sake it's awesome if true.
