Caring for Ceramic Coating - Tips and Tricks

I had my entire car ceramic coated almost two weeks ago with Modesta. I was given instructions not to wash the car for three weeks and I have a follow-up in about a week for them to inspect the coating and give the car it's first bath. They provided me with a bottle of M2Blast to cleanup any bird poop, tree sap, etc. It has rained a few times and dirt and dust is starting to show on the car. Very hard for me not to go to town with the M2Blast and clean it all up but I'm worried about scratching the ceramic coating. What do you guys recommend for cleaning the car during this "curing" phase? Do you just wait it out and only clean up the large stains? Any recommendations are much appreciated. Thanks!

Also curious with this. Going to have mine done this spring with paint correction done prior. I assume the soap is what could be harmful to the ceramic during this phase but even if it rains, lets say an hour after getting it coated, that's fine?

Call them up and ask what you should do? Surely they've dealt with this scenario before.

At the very least, you should be able to use a pH-neutral car wash and at least rinse it down without an issue. But they should be the ones to know--if they say leave it, then suck it up and deal with it for another week.

They said rain was fine and to stay away from "hard water" such as sprinkler systems and things like that. It actually rained less then an hour after I picked up my car and it didn't seem to affect it. It has rained a few more times though and driving through it picks up dirt and debris that is now building up and I want to wipe off.

I've spoken to them. I'm just looking for any other tips that members who've had their cars ceramic coated recommend.

I wash mine with ph neutral soap (carpro reset) in a foam cannon, two bucket wash and then use high quality microfiber towels to coat with a maintenance ceramic spray (carpro reload).

I had my sportback also modesta coated during the curing weeks I went to the brushless wash and did the cheapest soap and water wash and none of the extra coating they spray cause it can ruin your coat or if you can hold on without washing is the best during curing

So you get the coating to care for the paint, and now you have to take special steps to care for the coating? Is there a coating protection package you can get to protect the coating that protects the paint?

Haha very funny. During the first few weeks you want to be careful to ensure everything has bonded and cured properly and then its business as usual. With the added benefits of a shine that will last several years with no need to wax and a much easier to clean vehicle.
