All season tires for 20inch wheel

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hey folks,

I just picked up a new S5 sportback on 20 inch summer tires during a snow storm. Needless to say it wasn't a fun drive home. Anyway the current tires are 265/30/20. What all season tires do you guys recommend. I previously had continental DWS which were great, but I can't seem to find them in that particular size. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

I have one brand new PS4 in 265/30/20 if anyone is interested. Letting go for 275.

I have three (3) Toyo Proxes 4 Plus tires. About 8k miles on them. They are 255/35/20 though, not 265/30. Would be better in the winter than summers.

I have been using the Michelin A/S 3+ (275/30/20) for a couple thousand miles now and find them to be great.

OP, I would suggest just buying a set of winter wheels/tires. You can get a nice 18” setup for a good price. Keep the summer tires on the sporty wheels. At least you will have tires that are actually really good for each season. Don’t be the jack of all trades.

Thnaks guys for the advice. While I would love to have two sets of tires, I live in a condo in NYC with no storage lol. So decided to go the route of all seasons. Seems like the Conti’s perform better in the snow, which I can attest to as I had them on my 2014 S4.

The DWS 06 are very good in snow, based on all the feedback I've read. I was very close to going this route, but decided on the A/S 3+ for the added dry performance - I typically work from home when it snows, so I really don't need them for the snow, only the cold temps.

At my job I am considered “essential personnel” so I have to make it to work no matter the weather conditions. I really wanted the A/S +3 because they look to be superior in every category expect winter weather. Oh well..

I was essential personnel at my old job. Yeah, didn't matter if it was a blizzard or not. Wish I sprung for a dedicated winter set back then.
