So I waited to long getting spares made and lost my only set of keys. Yes im an idiot.
Getting new keys is horrible because the car is imported and there is no audi dealer in Aruba.
But I can get keys through audi curacao it seems but in the meanwhile I need to get the car towed home but need it in neutral. Is there a way to do this without keys?

Tow truck can dolly ur car, no need to get it into neutral. If ur planning on towing it with a strap, u can't without the key to unlock the steering...but u probably already knew that.

Yeah, but on this tiny island only option is flatbed for awd cars. Pulling the car on the flatbed in park doesn't seem healthy. Had 2 blank keys in the car for months to get copied. Such an idiot.

Should be able to pull up the shifter console and there will be a neutral unlock lever. At least there is on my touareg.

thanks man seemed like the solution but tried it for 30 minutes , and for some reason it does nothing. I have found a locksmith who says he can decode a key from the doors lock cylinder with a tool. My question is a correct cut key but no transponder programmed will still be able to disengage the steering lock and allow me to put the car in neutral right?

Yes. All you need is to turn the key. Doesn't need to start
